It's so exciting to see these father sons in the radar. Coghlan was a good honest player for us and Dean Rice was a great player. It will be interesting to see which club Bailey chooses. If I was him I would choose St Kilda because 1) it was Dean's first club, and 2) by the time he is ready to impact the seniors we will be pushing for finals/premierships! Simples!!

However I'm really excited by Jackson Voss based on earlier comments. He sounds like an absolute gun and he is ours, all ours! Woo hoo!!:D:thumbsu:

JV is 4 years away, already training at the club, is coming in over the holidays for 3 days with Frankie Peckett's 12 year old Jett, who can also play.

So perfectly timed at the start of our premiership tilt then!

We should all bow our heads and give thanks to Frankie Peckett for having so many boys!! :D:D

You know it's about time we got the rub of the green when it comes to father sons.....let's hope both JV and Jett turn out to be guns or at least both top 10 picks!

What kind of player do you think young Vossy going to be?

Two of my favourites Peckett and Vossy. Voss was very underrated with the team that was around him. Peckett was just an awesome guy. I guy I know played with him down the peninsula until recently and said he still is the best clubman and has the team around to his house often- a fair effort with all the kids he has. He used to go and watch the reserves back in the day too.

I see Peckett at Sandy games sometimes. What a legend.

(12/11/13) Josh Bennet (Ainslie - NEAFL) – Returning home to Victoria after a stint at Ainslie in the NEAFL, Josh is a tall forward with good mobility, kicked 71 goals this year and was named in the NEAFL team of the year and also kicked 4 goals in the NEAFL representative game, topped the Eastern conference goal kicking and finished 4th in the league best & fairest. Josh is the son of former Footscray & Sandringham player John Bennett, looks a prospect.

(Not sure about the Tom Ledger bit though? Must have got him mixed up with Tom Curren.)

He dominated the championships for Victoria last year as a ruck rover/centreman, at this level he is a clone to his uncle.
As in hard-at-it, angry brick?

lets just hope in 20 years he doesnt end up coaching the club like his uncle

I saw Tom Lamb was the most lively of the forwards in the AIS v Pies VFL match according to reports. Brayshaw had about 24 possies and Mav Weller's little brother Lachie sounds like he did well.
