Maybe Lyon didn't like him. Maybe Toce never shouted at the pub or ate all the biscuits in the breakout room.
Maybe he farts during draft night through nervousness when they are all in that room cheek by jowl.
Maybe none of those and it is just an operational decision.

Eating all of the biscuits in the breakout room would be a deal breaker for me. Or scoffing all of the monte carlo‘s before anyone else gets one.

Note the melts if there is no announcement.!!!!

Maybe they will just have roughhead or SOS to be chief bottle washer
Imagine if Roughead gets the job 😂

oh boy dunk GIF

SOS has a job (list manager). They have said they're introducing a new role, I don't see why they'd appoint SOS to the new role.
This could be far off the mark but isn’t SOS in semi retirement? Doesn’t he spend a lot of time in Qld or in fact live there. Does he want to spend his time travelling the country watching football games at various levels. List management could done from anywhere with a good laptop and spreadsheet with the occasional meeting, some of which could be done with Zoom, Meetings etc.

I’m a chocolate royal man but get your point!!
Chocolate teddy bear biscuits dipped in milky black tea...yummo...(with a fat herbal organic spliff)
I was outraged when Covid forced Arnotts to streamline their product range.
However sensibleness has prevailed, as well as many other Choc teddy fans partitioning the corporate biscuit overlords...the Choc teddies are back on the shelf...life is complete again...only thing missing is a 2nd Saints premiship cup...and a Norm Smith for Mitchito after he has torn his the grand final opponents a new one closely followed by Coops 5 goals in a performance of Titanic proportions🥰

Or bigger melts if they brought the Trout back...........................
Don't even mention the possibility of that happening. We should sue that incompetent arseh*le for wrecking our club for a decade.

What scares me is he was very close to RTB, and when Trout couldn't handle the pressures of an assistant coach's job, the administration did what any good administration would do. They promoted him to one of the most important positions in the club. Head of recruiting!😵😩😮

With RTB reviving his good mate SOS's career, would it be beyond the bounds of possibility he'd do the same for his little mate, the Trout?

RTB is big on loyalty, but surely history and Elshaug's appalling performance in the task last time should ensure he never darkens our door again.

Then again this is St.Kilda. Expect the unexpected!

St Kilda have poached Sydney and former Western Bulldogs recruiting manager Simon Dalrymple.

Dalrymple resigned from the Swans on Friday afternoon to accept the job at the Saints as the talent identification and player movement manager.

The move comes after St Kilda parted ways with long-term recruiting head Chris Toce three weeks ago.
Dalrymple, who helped build the Western Bulldogs’ premiership list after taking over recruiting there in 2009, has been recruiting manager at Sydney since 2018.

The recruitment by Dalrymple when at the Bulldogs of Marcus Bontempelli with pick four and Aaron Naughton at nine were standout selections

At the Swans he selected Chad Warner with just pick 39 and had success with the choices of James Rowbottom at 25 and Justin McInerney at 44.

Toce had been at the Saints since 2005 after coming to the club from Collingwood. When he departed from the Saints the club announced that as part of a restructure Toce’s role had been made redundant.

Rowbottom at 25 , Warner at 39 , and McInerney at pick 44 , amongst getting guns with higher picks , and premiership players from other avenues. Very Impressive. I Feel a bit for Toce , but there would be more than one wise head behind this decision. We’re building nicely.
Dalrymple is clearly rated very highly.
