Didn't see the game today due to being on a different shift.

Looking through the stats, is Jack Steven's 11 clangers accurate?

Doesn't sound too far wrong, although he played well as he was breaking lines and giving off handballs, by foot he was the Butcher Boy from Lorne.

Interesting. SEems to support sunny3193 and his theory that there are set rotation policies, which is why Dunstan tends to play the same TOG every week. Koby takes Luke's spot and now plays 68%.

On the other hand the fact that he more than doubled Luke's disposal tally shows that Dunsgan wasn't playing some special role and was in fact just out of form.
As much as I'd like to claim that, and irrespective of the rotation policies, Luke is never going to displace Koby based on what I saw of Luke today vs what little I have seen of Koby tonight.

Thought Jake was stiff to have that late 50m penalty paid against him.

He was clearly not within 5m, then Sicily the w***er, steps to his right & runs on an arc towards Carlisle & closes the 5m gap

****wit umpire should have called play on, not 50

(Sorry, had to have at least 1 umpire whinge ;) )

Glad to see Koby went well, always liked him

If you beat the plastics next week, you better thank us

Rubbed out Greene and Haynes for you, and also thrashed them in the body contest

Toby Greene is just a mistake of a human, the world is worse off with him being around to snipe people on and off the field.

My thoughts exactly, at least we'll be safe from Greene's errant fists so thank you for that! Looks like you made them feel it all night, that's for sure, so let's hope they're a bit tender still next week.

Our boys might be safe, but we the public won't be. Stay away from Zagame's next weekend

Montagna had 30 uncontested possessions out of 33 total.

Assuming he was playing link up off the back flank again?

High HBF. Him, Roberton and Webster were pretty much allowed to run the other way all day bar about 10mins, so all were used as link up players, Poppy, Langford and Breust were pretty shizen by comparison, so whilst they still set defensively they were pretty much all allowed to play higher than they otherwise would.

I wonder if Paddy can get into the squad for Friday night. 7 goals is a great return but its hard to drop anyone from a 75 point win.

The only potential changes could be Longer out for Hickey (although against Mumford Hickey will get an absolute bath so hopefully not) and Minch out if Richo is critical of his game

I'm only seeing none or 1 change.

Interesting. Sounds like Clarko's slipping tactically, not just with the cattle.

Giants are an 8 goal better team than us imo. Get within 30 & it'll be a win. Just don't want to take a big hit on our percentage. The following week we have Carltank, we should regain our lost percentage there.

Can you believe they beat sydney

To much to like about todays game, but on a side note, I thought Acres hands around the boundary and his skills in general were really strong. This kid has it!
Acres just does a few things that makes you go "wow!" and makes it look easy. Breaks away from tacklers like they're not even there, you can't tackle Blake "the eel" Acres.

Both of McEvoy's goals were a joke.

The first goal should have been a free kick to Longer for being blocked/shepherded out of the pack by Langford, which allowed Big Boy an uncontested mark... Disgraceful non-call by the umpire

The second goal was from a Langford shanked kick that landed in McEvoy's arms 20m in space because he was too gassed to make it to the goal square for the long kick in which Langford was trying to achieve. Talk about pure arse!

Will agree Longer was smashed around the ground, but the goals were just laughable. And I dare say Billy's +10 in taps were possibly the reason we blitzed in clearance for once & goals created would have been worth more than Big Boy's 2 arsey ones
Well said.

s unique in that he is evasive but also strong enough even when tackled to get the handball away. For example patty cripps isn't that evasive but strong enough to always get the handball out. Conversely Pendlebury is so evasive because has so much time and space that you just cannot tackle him. Fyfe is super strong. Acres will be special because he will be exceptional at both. Also elite overhead

So I watched on a massive delay so was great to come home and see that after a long day

Its like richo read big footy

Gilbert rucks and more mid rotations

**** Me Drunk
How good was it
Must be good.....Quixote is suspended lol

Hang tough bro

Stevens was magnificent, as was Steele, very well recruited Saints.
Carlisle and Brown huge.
Webster and Roberton awesome. Especially Roberton, AA from.
Midfield took the rocket and were quality.
Roo is just a GOAT. Will cry for days when he hangs them up.
Ross, Steven, Monty all high performers, but we expect that now!
Sinclair slotted in nicely, Minchington not great, but has to be persisted with after last week.
Longer definitely lost his battle with McEvoy, wonder how Hickeys gone today...

All in all, that was a ******* awesome display! A double whammy for us. Hawks lost, so we get a higher pick and we continue our quest for finals.

Also, the Saints banner was first class! Props to whoever came up with that, well played!

Bring on the Giants! They're beatable

Billy's tap work to our mids was a massive reason why we got on top & then ran away with the game.

Ben kicked 2, Billy helped create 10
