If he could kick straight, Billings would possibly be leading?

If Koby Stevens can get the level of involvement he got today every week he'll be hard to force out of the team that's for sure. 2 goals and 28 touches. Helped link up a few scoring chains for us and rode some hard physical contact in parts of it.
I actually think Kobys got another level. He was good and he's always been able to get involved in close. But he's practically been injured his whole career. If he can stay uninjured he could be a contested beast 25+ hard balls a game every game who kicks goals.

I've watched a fair bit of him and his best is excellent but he does have some consistency issues at times. His biggest challenge will be having the same effort in every game.

Were you at the game? I had a feeling Sinc wasn't playing forward but it's always real hard to tell on the TV.
Nah, just watching on TV but im pretty sure he was playing more wing this week and would be confident in saying most of his possessions were further up the field - he seemed to be delivering the ball forward rather than sitting in a pocket waiting for it to come

While Armitage is out, Koby should never be out of the team.

His size would have been invaluable against West Coast & Geelong in keeping blokes like Priddis, Mitchell, Selwood & Dangerfield off the stoppages

Watching the game again and hearing the crowd sounding very pro Saints and knowing our history with tassie and the great supporters we have there, we could do a lot worse than playing some home games there again, especially with the hawks about to start a down few years. The good thing is our style of footy seems to suit that ground really well this time around too. We could turn it into a fortress.

I totally agree. He has consistency issues cause of his injury battles over the years. I think we got him at the perfect age where his body matures and he's able to pack big chunks of games in. Its a confidence thing too. He's got another level to get to but i can see him getting there soon. Very good player.

I truly think the guy is a great player, he was best on ground for the Dogs last year in the first few games and scored top votes in the Brownlow in those games , then he got hurt and battled to get back into the team after injury, after todays game and win he should feel at home , it looks like it's all coming together with Acres , Sinclair , Steven, Steele , Ross , Koby Stevens and the backline starring - bring on GWS - we should give them a run for there money

5 possessions is really quite pathetic.

Mumford will destroy him if he plays like that on Friday.

Just does not contribute. Mumford will kill him in the ruck and around the ground.
36 hitouts. Longer was the reason we won today.

The issue is both Hawthorn and North are contracted to play down there until 2021.

Yeah, was thinking that but do you know if that means no one else can play down there? it just seems such a natural fit for us with the fan base already there and those 2 teams you mention about to have a few lean years.

I'm not sure we would get the sponsorship to play there that the others do, which is what makes it really profitable for them.

So erm, was busy watching our VFL so is there a DVD version of this game. Happier about this result than our win today.
Get the **** in :p

Great effort today from all the boys. Koby and Sinclair in that first quarter along stuv Imo were best on in that first quarter.

Sinclair needs to be in the side with his composure and disposal level being elite.

The real downer for me was longer being beaten my Mcevoy. Got 2 goals kicked against him which simply should not happen.

Only change for me is Hickey for Longer.

Reminds me of the one richo from the Tigers missed from three meters out lol

Lingy, from about the same distance as Bruce only he missed everything, I also remember watching something about old mat rats tossbag (Blighty) who ran into open goal and slammed it home for a behind.

Shizen quality, but I think both are on this.

Ergo, Bruce is in legendary company.

Great game today from the boys, team starting to gel together, Koby Stevens a great addition today , Sinclair as well.
The only problem is who you leave out to bring Mcartin back when Richo thinks he is ready
Things are looking good - we have backups.
Armitage
Hickey
Dunstan
Long
Lonie
Savage
Freeman is slowly getting it together
I was trying to work that out to! Who do you leave out?
