I think the best thing for both clubs is that he gets picked up in the PSD.
Carlton look like they aren't a pushover, accepting a token pick they'll hardly use and WC get him for nothing.
SPS owes nothing to Carlton and said he's not leaving WA. He has no contract and Carlton don't have any leverage in this situation, other than "we'll send you to the PSD."

Can’t whine about 52 if Carlton didn’t offer SPS a contract
I've said before I dont care what we get for him, just didnt want cerra costing 6+25. Appears that isn't an issue as freo are chasing 25 with 27 coming back to us so not really needed

3 step plan to fix SPS
- Ban him from kicking the ball less than 30m at training and in games
- Make him do a pre season tailing Andrew Gaff in the running drills
- Give him a cup of cement each day to stay hydrated.

OK...odd that it coincided with us moving a talented inside mid the HBF, but you seem to have done your research...
I think you are over rating his 2019 season but that's ok. He was moved to HBF to try and improve his defensive game but that failed and he through his toys out of the bath. Maybe he should have committed to any position and feel lucky to be an AFL footballer but no he spat the dummy.

Bottom line is with new coach and staff we don't want conditional players and ones that don't bleed blue on the field so there is no place for SPS. Even if he does somehow stay he is not best 22 and would only be depth

You'd be lucky to get a pick in the 60's. The only reason he played nearly 100 games is because he was pick 6. Hasn't done a thing for 2 years and is looking like a big bust. The fact you are referencing "highlights" from 2019 says it all.
Hopefully he can turn it around at the Eagles but unlikely IMO.
