So that Murdery stuff rando just waltzes onto BigFooty posts some obscure stuff trying to try and link the case interstate and now has disappeared.

Definitely fishy, potentially a burner account of someone close to the accused or a websleuths nutter. I’m surprised at how this sub forum really manages to bring so many randoms to the site. Chief needs to give us a cut of the advertising.

You could say that the poster cut and run

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Long time lurker, first time poster. I feel like I know you all lol.

I hope this is a significant piece of information in the investigation of SM’s alleged murder and recovery of her remains.

The circling in this thread (especially the past month) has been driving me nuts!! If I hear about a damaged vehicle again…. 😵‍💫 Or the theory that POS was using drugs and he ‘forgot’ where he’d hidden a body (Most people that use illicit drugs are not the stereotyped meth/heroin addict portrayed in the media!) Or a seedy work colleague from Victoria (call CS if you’re suspicious! Also, she called Victorians weird and no one called her out!).

Can you please click on a few of the advertising banners so Kurve can ask the big forum boss to give us money.

Thanks.

This is in a direct line to where my son and I discovered some 'unusual' items beside the Yarrawee River, it's within 500m of where I have been saying her remains could be since Feburary. Reckon they're really close to finding her. By the way that road is one we travel all the time to get to our vineyard... you could literally pull over get out of the car and within one minute be driving again, the dam is ten metres off the road!!

I was thinking about your earlier posts about finding the ‘unusual’ items when I heard this update as I remembered that they were found near a body of water.

Haha the last month you could have held a weekly bingo comp in this thread with the things you listed...add in "new poster admits to not reading the full thread before asking question answered on page 1" and "wHy a mUrDer charge"

Jokes aside I totally agree with you and I hope this is the turning point in this case for the sake of her family.

The username is also a bit odd too? I dunno I feel if you were actually feeling genuinely uncomfortable about a potential murderer in your workplace who'd just moved from Ballarat you wouldn't sign up to a crime board with the name"murderystuff" as your username? Maybe just me

Same here. I’ve searched it and came up with nothing. All I assume is that murderystuff is young, 18-25? They are female. They are new at this and finding their feet.

Huge news.

If it's Samantha's phone and it couldn't have been thrown from a moving car in that it had to be walked in and placed there, then the cops are probably close to finding her. imo.

The high-fives, hugging etc really was a culmination of months of searching.

They know they have a key piece of evidence. If someone they get fingerprints off it and it's linked to POS, he gone.

I personally think it was thrown as he drove by in a state of panic.

Great timing for the find too, a fair bit of rain is forecast for later today.

I tapped out of this thread 100 or so pages ago so don't know what's been discussed but is there any chance that POS doesn't actually know where her body is, even if he's murdered her?

H
How come they aren't going back to continue searching in the dam?
Weren't the occupants of the property advised recently that police wanted to search the property and if so wouldn't curiosity have kicked in and they take a little wander around to see if there is anything obvious. The phone looked was very obvious and sniffer dogs wouldn't be needed for that.
Did police say why they needed the excavator.

There was a diver in the dam, was that not enough?

No need to 'walk' the phone to the dam, a young fit bloke could sling them from his elevated big ute by the side of the road, plenty of time to pull over to the wrong side of the road on that stretch, farmers do it all the time, wouldn't look out of place at all. People, this is the 'bush' being out of your car on the side of the road is not unusual.
I really know this area, we've got a property we manage along it, barely 1K down the road. There is no need to wander through someone's property, that's why he chose it (assuming they are Sam's), all over in seconds, obscure enough and 'off the beaten track'.
But the real question was this done on the way to or from disposing of Sam's body? I would still suggest that she is somewhere in the Yarrawee downstream. Plenty of crossings...

Or someone else has put it in there. I think it would be hard to throw from the road
Interesting, the police have searched this property before numerous times. Someone is giving police crucial information. I would not be surprised if SM is buried at a property and there is more to this

Where have you seen/heard that this particular property has been searched on numerous occasions? First time the coppers have been seen on this road, it's always been off to the side into the reserve/golf course ,or miles away in Canadian or Enfield.

There are plenty of questions arising from this discovery.
  • Why throw the phone at all? If he is on the way to disposing of the body, why risk a stop and not just dispose of the phone with the body? If he is on the way back, and presumably just 'discovered' he still had the phone, why choose that location when he could easily destroy and hide the phone (e.g. in a dumpster) back in town?
  • Where is SM's smart watch? Seems the dogs and diver did not find it in the dam.
  • What about the 5pm Buninyong last phone ping? How did this happen if the phone was in the dam at 5pm? Or was it 5pm when the phone was tossed into the dam?
  • Did SM really take the phone / wallet with her on the run? Or just her watch?
  • Have police done a tower dump from Buninyong tower to locate all devices within pinging distance (entering / leaving) of the dam location on the morning/afternoon SM disappeared? Is POS the owner of one of these devices? What about his close contacts? As dirtyleeds points out, this is not a popular location - there would not be too many people passing through.

I questioned this as well as I wouldn't personally run with a phone. Mick stated that Samantha always took her phone with her, so when he rang her and it went straight to message bank he immediately knew something was wrong.
