Who has played the most games for the Eagles without any finals appearances?

There’s no chance Ben McKinley played finals, and he’d have played 50 odd games.

Malaxos (then captain) played the drawn QF in 1990 and the replay, then was dropped by Malthouse for the next final and never played for us again.

If anyone was drafted higher than Brandon Hill’s pick 10, I can’t think of them.

I don’t think he technically fits your criteria, but Peter Mann was a pre-draft selection in 1989 (along with Turnbull) but declined to join the squad and stayed with Claremont for the 1990 season. Then at the end of the year we traded him to North.
