All I remember is that Danger held Sando in high esteem. I seriously doubt he wanted him gone. Hope I'm wrong, but it's a gut feel and I think he'll leave.

He said that in the past.

The thing is, though - the past isn't now.

Who else besides Danger in that aging group would have the power to get a coach sacked.

He's driving it, or at least has expressed his support. No way would it happen otherwise.

Hopefully the new coach is given free rein by Fagan to pick a team of assistants.

Sando never had has own coaching team. He inherited Craigy's boyz who should have shared responsibility for '10 and '11 and been moved on. Whether that was the fault of Trigg being stingey (especially after Tippettgate) or Sando lacking in ambition, we may never know.

But you've got to give the new coach a chance to build his own team around him. A terrifying scenario is entering next season with a new head coach surrounded by the good old Craigy's boyz.
Millburn???

Think you can safely say he won't want to be there either...more $$$'s pissed up against the wall by the AFC!

Seriously dumb decision if we don't have a contract written up for someone new. It means that Goodwin could turn the job down - assuming he's the frontrunner - and we'll be Brisbane MkII. Anyone who thinks Fagan has anything to do with this is forgetting how little he's got to do with the club at the moment.

This is a board thing, and it better ******* pay off.

He made the call. He was asked, "do we sack him or keep him" and his called was to sack him. He said, he would make the numbers work and sacking him would not be a financial disaster.

He didn't mess around.

Goodwin and Craig are a team.

Bomber is not coming. No chance

This may determine whether he stay or goes. New Coach may demand to know. If he is an experience coach he may tell danger ...no commitment we will trade you.

Everyone is saying that this is a real bad PR job but I am actually excited and I need to know the outcome
new coach may not be there by trade week, hope the list manager is at least!

I haven't read all the posts here... going too fast lol

You think the talk with Sloane and Tex, then on the phone with Danger was the tipping point for Sando?
Maybe sacking Sando was in hope of keeping Danger as there maybe was a full out between the two?

5AA were protecting the Crows (or thought they were) by waiting until the Crows gave them the go-ahead. They don't care about "scoops" they were protecting the club.

Which once again shows they aren't actually doing their job.............

Heard from a relative who was at the BnF that the playing group as a whole werent happy with the coach, took it with a grain of salt because his strike rate is 50/50.

Maybe he is on to something, Bone going off his nut on AA. Who led the charge ??

Milburn was a forced change as Ben Hart was poached by Collingwood.

We have reached the end of the 2014 season and we are yet to make an unforced change to Craigy's dream team.

While I have spent the last 2 years advocating that Chapman should go, I now think he should stay.

Since the CEO and coach have gone he should stay on for another 12 months for stability.

PS: Bone is being hysterical, and illogical, v entertaining radio at the moment.
Let me guess, McDermott is bleating that we are the only club who has ever sacked anyone. Bitter old fool.

Just caught up with this great news!!

I want to know who made the decision to give him two more years after the pathetic 2013 season, we thought it was stupid and it's proved to be.

F nose who they have lined up but it seems Sando had lost the playing group so had to go.
