Maybe 1 too many mid-pricers with DeGoey and Steele
Downgrade one to Oliver/BenKen and use the money to either
Upgrade whoever you kept to a more proven mid/fwd option
Or
Upgrade Z Smith to a Stef, Jacobs, NicNat, Gawn type

I can't fork out 700k for a guy when I could spend the dollars on danger, Pendles, etc and I feel Nicnat/Gawn/Steph will do well this year

I actually like the ruck choices, Smith is a great POD and poised for plenty of work this year.

If you're swapping a midpricer + rookie for someone, I'd drop Steele before DeGoey.

I'd upgrade Steele and Rance to a Top 10 fwd and a back midpricer or rookie.

Sports section on 7 News is the first that gets it, apparently there's a deal 7 have with the AFL to show teams first. Usually happens around 630-640 from memory?

I don't think so. You've got too many premos in your midfield that will end outside the top 15 and your Def will be very inconsistent

Your FWD line us a little weak and you can't start with 4 essendon players on the field in your backline.
You have to cull some midfielders. Start with 5 500k+ mids or 4 with a couple of midpricers in there and spend all that money saved on your fwd and back lines.

Your rookies and the premo picks themselves are great just need to share the love around.

If you are going to take such risk in your backline, I think spending some of that coin you are saving needs to be spent on upgrading your ruckman. One of them up to Goldy. He likely represents a 15-30ppg difference to every other ruckman in the competition.

Trouble is, esp on th DOns board, you don't see Dea in any of the best 22 for the season? Dea also doesn't appear in any 'experts' top 22. Even when they consider his preseason. That has me nervous. If he is named, then he is in.

If one of the 3 is Dea it might work. The JS us there but the scoring may not be.

Risky but could pay off if you spend the money well somewhere else.

Ive considered 2 premos back but it's way too risky. 3 is spot on and 4 coukd give you and edge if you pick the right ones.

I think 2 is the absolute max to start on field, they will score maybe not a lot but if they can average 50-60 a week they will all go up close to 290-300 which is a good cow.

Lobbe is a no for me. You'll be better off with Gawn or Nic Nat in the ruck.
