Yep.Dusty dropped another 6.7 player rating stinker against NM in 2015 in his prime.
Not surprising as Dusty only won 2 BnFs and didn't have a sustained peak like the real champions of the game.

'Clear' Norm Smith Medals....
Bachar Houli says Hi...
What absolute tripe.That's pretty funny.
Same coaches who vote B & F's gave Dusty Richmond's highest coaches votes in 8 separate seasons. If he was playing for most other clubs that equates to 8 B& F's.
If you don't belive me, check how many times Scott P was the top coach vote poller for Collingwood....& how many Copelands he has won.
What absolute tripe.
Anyway, time to stop stinking up this thread with yesterday's heroes.
Pendles has a few more milestones to achieve in 2025.
What a champion of the game.
Only problem is he was a Richmond and he was behind guys like D.Jackon and Cotch who were the Tigers best mids in the early/mid 2010s.That's pretty funny.

You can't call fadge out when you do extreme cherry picked/specific timeframe/blatantly made up 'stats' yourself.Yep, before the other 7.499 billion people on the planet bar Fadge claim Dusty has the best finals record of any player ever and Scott is not even mentioned ever in this conversation, here is Fadge from planet Fadge to present some incontrovertible evidence to show every person on planet earth is wrong and he is right.....
The incontrovertible evidence?
Fadge from Planet Fadge's own made up rankings of Dusty & Scott's individual finals performances.
I shit you not, I once actually went to the trouble of checking his ratings of their individual finals performances against the unbiased Champion Data ratings of those games and was utterly shocked to see Fadge had a 20% bias towards Pendlebury compared to CD ratings.
All-time Finals performers....
1 D Martin
Fighting our other top 10 places players like:
Barrassi, Bartlett, Matthews, Mueller and many other greats
then we get the Lachie Neales, D Jarmans, Billy Pickens of the world who seemed to produce their best around finals time
then we get 300 feet of shit
then we get the only forward or mid to play 30+ finals without kicking 10 goals(Dusty kicked 10 just in his 3 Grand Finals) Scott Pendlebury.
Fair dinkum Fadge you are delusional.
Houli should of won it. I thought I had the $$$ in the bag, then comes the cheating campaigner judges to ruin my day.13 of 15 form Smith votes to Houli 10 is pretty clear I would have thought. Dusty was BOG with 4 judges, Houli 1.
Put it this way, it is a 50% bigger margin & 2 extra people rating him BOG than Scott's mulligan match NS Medal.
Only problem is he was a Richmond and he was behind guys like D.Jackon and Cotch who were the Tigers best mids in the early/mid 2010s.
And no BnF for Dusty in 18,19 or 20 either.
Hardly surprising as Dusty in 2018 and 2019, Dusty only managed to poll 11 more coaches votes than Pendles. This is Dusty in his prime compared to Pendles in his 30s.
In 2020 Pendles polled more coaches votes than Dusty!
That is how good Pendles was, as even a level below his best Pendles in 2018-19-20 was still at peak Dusty (outside of 2017) levels.
But yes, some people prefer to focus on single seasons instead of full body of work. And no doubt Dusty has the best single season, 2017.

I need an official AFL source that says Collingwood didn't win the Grand Final in 2010. I didn't get a reply back last time I requested it.You show the stat I made up, I will show you my reliable objective source.
I do post these stats partially to inform, but also to needle people such as yourself Chronz. That gives me great pleasure.

That shows that a grand final was drawn. In the 2nd official grand final , Collingwood won the flag and secured our 15th premiership cup! From the AFL's own website, afl.com.au :

You cannot win a premiership if you did not win a grand final. Grand final also denotes a 'big end' to something. Could it be that the final game of the season is the true grand final? Please tell us all here today and in the future which team won the final game of the AFL 2010 premiership season? This may be a shocking revelation that shakes the very core of your perceived reality. It shows Chronz that The 2010 Grand Final ended in a draw. You cannot get 2 The 2010 Grand Finals. So there wasn't another The 2010 Grand Final. The denotes one and only one. Any reference to the mulligan match as The 2010 Grand Final is therefore automatically wrong, as The 2010 Grand Final took place first it therefore takes precedence.
I am deeply sorry your team didn't win The 2010 Grand Final, but we must face facts, they did not win it. However, they did win the 2010 mulligan match and therefore are legitimate Premiers. If anybody ever denies that I am happy to set them straight for you.
And Pendles played before and is still going...so even more seasons to Pendles. So it was 8 v 7 Pendlebury's way.
They also never gave coaches votes for finals games until 2016, so your numbers are again not an apples v apples comparison. We can see Pendlebury had the 2 most marginal wins & Dusty had the biggest win.
What a moronic approach.Of the years where both players were within the 23yo-31-yo window at the same time 2015-19, it was 4-1 to Martin.
Yeah most people just stop at the GFs.Most fair mindd people I am pretty sure would say Pendlebury clearly has the better overall home & away record, Dusty clearly has the better finals record.
Yep Dusty was bog ordinary in finals in 13,14,15 and 22 - Richmond flopped.I am also pretty sure I know which of those areas clubs would like their players to excel in most, finals. And that is for the precise reason that Dusty's finals performance exemplifies - it means Premierships. It certainly did in Dusty's case.
