I think the answer is easy, a one year deal with triggers for a second - triggers being no shit twitter/media/social media posts for the duration of the deal

After the way Pendles has been commenting on Twitter lately I believe that he should not be captain next season. Not that it should be taken off him for voicing his opinions but I just think it’s time and this would be a good excuse to give it to Moore
What has he been saying?
Is that really all that bad? A half-dozen other AFL figures have come out and said words to the same effect.
He does seem to like commentating on things. I guess he's not used to being locked at home during the FinalsI agree, I don’t think it is that bad (even though I disagree with him, and fate put him on the wrong side of the argument)
But IMO he’s just debasing himself by getting tangled up in that stuff. Discretion is the better part of valour.

I never want to be the "shut up and dribble guy", but sometimes players do say silly things.
I’m totally cool with players putting themselves out there. It’s often a good thing.
But some players can pull it off and some players can’t.
Michael Jordan was an example of a fine athlete who could pull it off. When he spoke he spoke with confidence and silky gravitas, and his stocks probably rose if that was even possible.
David Beckham was an example of a fine athlete who could not pull it off. He was far better off keeping his mouth shut.
IMO Scott Pendlebury is more David Beckham and less Michael Jordan.
I think we're probably overthinking this a bit. I don't see anything wrong in that tweet that would detract from Pendles exemplary character reputation that he has built up over the years.
This one is my favourite. Note that it was 9 days before the current NSW outbreak. He is anti-lockdown etc..., Implying that NSW know what they are doing and Victoria doesn't.
Didn't age very well.
But the experts knew that NSW got lucky last year. As soon as the virus got into their equivalent of our northern suburbs, they were gone and their cases are higher than ours ever were. It might be Delta but this year we have a vaccine. It was quite the consensus that NSW had handled it better than us prior to this outbreak, given how many deaths our major outbreak saw.
Those takes have of course, aged like milk
Maybe, I'm not sure that anyone was forecasting NSW getting an outbreak and instead of taking action deciding to sit there and twiddle their thumbs while the virus got away from them. Yet here we areBut the experts knew that NSW got lucky last year. And that's how it should be. His decision, which likely he will decide.Ringing endorsement of Pendles from Macrae…let him choose whether he stays on as captain or not.
