Don't have an issue if we do, would let Mills focus on being fit and Rampe is towards the end. I'd have no issue if we went with lets say a Rowbottom as captain with Heeney as VC. Something like that
I don't necessarily begrudge them picking him initially. Rampe and Parker towards the end, Heeney hadn't gotten into carrying the team mode anywhere near as much until this year.
But when Mills returned this year, someone else should have held the captaincy until he was fit and in form. I was watching the Port game live up high so didn't really notice it, but apparently he was going off at teammates while playing badly himself.
Meanwhile Heeney and Rowy stepped up and led by example (at least in other games, and Rowy cracked in vs Port still). I'd probably have either of them before Mills, but hopefully his behaviour has been discussed internally and presumably he remains anyway.

I don't think Heeney & Rowbottom are captaincy material.
Mills was widely seen as a potential future captain from the minute he walked in the door, and the youngest Swan to be in a leadership group. It's disappointing fans have jumped off that bandwagon after only one (admittedly underwhelming) year. Everyone's entitled to their opinions though.

On the flip side though it would allow Mills to finally just concentrate on being fit all year. Why isn't Rowbottom a future captain anyway? If anything he's more a captain than most on our list. I'm here or there about the captains though, I'm fine keeping Mills too, but I'd at least consider changing the VC to prepare for life after Rampe.

I don't think he's a bad choice, I just don't think he's the best choice.
If he struggles with fitness and form, there needs to be a clear option that takes over. Rather than having him out there trying to lead, and not being able to.
I stuffed up when booking the tickets. I wanted a 4 game pass but only ordered tickets for the Swans game. Stupid, I know. The two Adelaide team games will be booked out by tomorrow.

No. It was my mistake. I went to ticketek via the Swans email, which, unbeknown to me, was simply to buy tickets for our game. Had I just logged into Ticketek, I would have seen the 4 game options.
Once I'd bought our game tickets, my barcodes then became invalid.
I hope the players are as energised as this BF board.
Mills definitely beefed up during his long summer in the gym. It would be nice to see that extra muscle in action, in the manner of JPK.
As supporters we must demand that our lowered standards at the club get raised back up to where these two blokes below had us.
Cox saw first hand as an opponent what those standards were, so hopefully he can demand it as ruthlessly as these two legends did.
That's the only thing that I hold hope for with this club now.

Heeney is a superstar swan
Even a formal announcement of Mills captain, Heeney and Rowy VCs shows who we're seeing as the example setters.
Unfortunately light on up forward or down back for players that have more than 1-2 years left in the 22 and are showing leadership.
