pies fan deleted post cos he copped too much shite

I think we’ll see an increase in our crowds with all the new kids and other youngsters starting to establish themselves as best 22. Think we’ll have a tough season again but will be much better watching than last season which was just a ****en nightmare
Having a full squad to choose will make for an infinitely better season to watch. Not much fun when you’re missing 20 players.

why only 2 games at the G in the first 8 rounds. ffs new season and they dont even let the tiger army get to see the team early in the season

they would never do this to colonwood

The AFL fixture should be called the AFL fixing.

Clearly designed to get a desired result. The deck is stacked.

Carlton gifted. North and WC twice again. Carlton 5 day breaks: 0
Geelong as always get well looked after, no shock there. 5 day breaks: 1

Collingwood lol, they're complaining?

Pies start the year with 3 out of 4 games at the MCG
Pies finish the year playing 5 out of 6 games at the MCG
14 games at the MCG
4 interstate trips
(not including reach around)
1 Five day break

I'm not complaining but.... Finishing last Richmond play:
13 games at the MCG
5 interstate trips
(not including reach around)
As well as a trip down to Kitty litter park
2 Five day breaks

I'm not too fussed about the fixture other than having a trip to both Geelong and Hobart. In saying that, I may go to Hobart to watch it.

13 Games seems a bit low but when I had a look properly this is because we don't double-up against other MCG tenants (Melbourne, Hawthorn or Collingwood) and of the pseudo-MCG tenants (Essendon and Carlton) we only double-up with one of those.

The AFL could easily have fixtured us home against North Melbourne at Docklands and away in Hobart but didn't - I see this as a win(ish) as it really should be home at MCG and away at Docklands. The double-up against the Saints and Geelong is how it should be.

No home games against Marvel tenants is also a win.

We play four interstate sides at the MCG (five if you count North Melbourne) and Fremantle in Adelaide. Excluding Perth; our interstate flights are 1-2 hours plus some driving to Barossa and Homebush. Our six flights aren't better or worse. I'd rather fly to Hobart than Western Australia.

Overall, I think it could have been a lot worse.

It will be even more sweet when they **** up and miss top 4
theyll miss the 8

only downwards from here

I think the cfl is desperate for cripps to win a flag
