The Gumbies made it 5 wins in a row with a tight win in rainy conditions at the Eyrie. The stats were spread, showing a team performance, but DenieD had 6 Tackles to repel the opposition attacks.

ONE TO WATCH: Barrybran is the current Fred leader, although has played one more game than 2nd. He’ll be looking to maintain that lead this week.

Roys last: Lost 71-87 v Bombers

It was an unfortunate loss for the Roys, who despite 4 goals from fitzroybowiedog were 27 points behind at 3QT and did not recover. 7 tackles from Wosh showed resilience which will be needed against the high flying Gumbies.

ONE TO WATCH: Zevon has 13 goals in 5 games and is due a big one. He might be worth a sneaky bet for 5 goals.

Na it’s cool, we’re still massively cashed up after some punter loaded up with us when we played the Dragons a couple of weeks ago. Personally I thought they made the right call backing “over 1,000 Dragon GIFs” in the match thread (usually near enough to a certainty) but I guess the Dragons were a little quiet that week and only made it to 999.
