I did BIAB with a Crown urn for about 4 years. Just make sure you use a good thermometer

I went from brewing with cans of goop to all-grain with my Grainfather v3. Bloody brilliant bit of kit, not cheap though.

I know this is a light hearted banter thread but the disrespect being shown to craft beer here is triggering me.

I wasn't referring to craft beer. I didn't even consider its existence. How can someone disrespect something, the irrelevance of which, is so pitiful, it doesn't register as an entity.

Just dont go too big too soon with the grain bill

I got an earlier version Brewzilla for roughly the price of a standard urn when the newest version got released. Need a whirlpool arm for the pump but apart from that it’s sufficient for most styles.

The $$ savings keep me motivated. Bottling is a bitch of a task though.

Moon Dog is alright, they have a huge place in Preston now with a pool and everything.
Banks is my pick of the five.
St Andrews is alright, dig the ex horse stable thing going on.
Matilda Bay should be in Perth, will never get over that.
Prefer the Little Creatures in Freo, but the Geevegas one is ok.
