Falconista – Gumbies leader and fast-becoming league legend, Falconista earns his first All-SFA accolade to his growing list of recognitions after an impressive Season 37 across the backline. That’s right, we have our first All-SFA virginity broken tonight and no better person to receive the honours than Falcon. His season saw the Gumbies make it all the way to the Finals – that’s right, the Gumbies, in the Finals. He almost gets in alone on that but we must acknowledge his own personal performance this season and the incredibly all-round performance, averaging 36.5 posts per game, 13.5 disposals, 4 marks and a cheeky 4 total goals to match – not bad for a dashing defender. Well done Falcon!

kenneyswarriors – There don’t come many more sturdy half-backs in the competition than Kenney and this season saw Kenney take his game to a whole new level. 16 disposals per game, even managed to snap himself a few hitouts in the process, 3 goals all the while laying a whopping 28 tackles, averaged 5 marks per game and with posting numbers of 85 per game, it’s hard to overlook Kenney this season for the All-SFA and again, it’s a first for Kenneys – congratulations on the inaugural All-SFA nomination mate.

tony – As luck would have it, two relatively noobs in the ranks of All-SFA need to be flanked by a fast-becoming consistent performer such as Tony. I say consistent, and then track record suggests that even though this is his fourth All-SFA honour, he’s still yet to be able to go back to back in any of them. This season, the big fella had 30 posts per game, 14.5 disposal, 4.5 marks and was able to sneak forward a couple of times when the team needed it. Well done on number 4 Tony!
If an Old Boy posts but no one is around to take him off ignore, was it really posted?

One of those three is not like other. I take it that posting quality is no longer a prerequisite for selection?

Reports coming in suggest nearly a dozen people know this is happening right now.

This is what happens when Sweet-FA isn't given prior notice. I wouldn't even be on right now if I had something to do on a Wednesday night...

Gralin - a 33-game veteran – if ever there were such a thing, Gralin goes back-to-back with All-Sweet FA selections. Gralin dominated the wing (and centre) for the Mount Buller Demons in Season 37, averaging 21 disposals, 6 marks, and close to a goal per game. Along with 82 posts per match thread, Gralin was a force on and off field. Congratulations, Gralin, on your second All-Sweet FA selection in as many seasons - at this rate, you'll overtake Filth in no time!

Robertio - a respected leader for the grand final-bound Ophidian Old Boys, Robertio salutes for All-Sweet FA selection number three in Season 37. The Season 31 Deestroy Medalist was huge in the guts for the Old Boys, with 18 touches and 5.5 marks per game to go along with a massive 115 posts per match thread. This All-Sweet FA jacket will look beautiful alongside Robertio's Season 35 and Season 36 selections - a triple treat for the Old Boys' midfield dynamo. Well done Robertio on also being nominated as the Season 37 All-SFA Captain.

AnUltimateRessie - rounding out the center line is AnUltimateRessie. Going by this season's performances, perhaps "AnUltimateWinger" would be more appropriate! AUR played all 16 home and away games on the wing, notching up averages of 23 disposals, 5.5 marks, and 2 tackles. Along with 11 goals, and a hugely engaged season (69 posts per match thread), AUR had a season to remember, now capped off with a deserved second All-Sweet FA selection.

Thanks for the write-up Headless

Good evening all,

Welcome to the Season 37 All-SFA Announcement.

The All-SFA has long been an award used to honour the best performers of the season across the board in both Qooty and posting contributions. It is an award selected by a rigorous nomination process where 13 of the finest minds in the league as representatives of their clubs engage in robust debate in regards to who makes the best quality posts that enhance the experience of all in the league, and balances it with a consideration of who has performed well on the Qooty field in their respective positions. This is then all put together into a blender and here's the result. So sit back, relax, and enjoy the night.

This is a prestigious honour, and to be selected in the All-SFA team means you are truly among the elite echelons of the league as an exponent of what all rookies should aspire to be.

Have fun everyone!
Not quite an all-SFA team when you deliberately exclude a club, is it?

I guess it leaves some spots available for those that would otherwise miss out.
