SEASON 38 POSTING ANALYSIS
Since last years posting statistician is struggling to access their big footy account and serial_thrilla being washed up. It has come to me to spend MINUTES collating posting statistics and analysing them to get bigfooty posters around the country angry at what they mean and by analysing, I mean barely looking at them.
Past (and better) editions of this by WaynesWorld19, Ant Bear, serial_thrilla and they who shall not be named:

The match thread count dipped down after the opening round before hitting a season high in round three and then remained fairly steady until round 12 where there was a decline before hitting a high in round 18.
You'll need to note while looking at this that round 14 and 17 had one less game than the rest of the season.
A decline in most of the categories were seen across the season with more posters getting involved in round 13. Round 10 was AFL grand final weekend and you may have expected a uptick in posters logging onto the website and therefore engaging in Sweet but there was no clear change. Round 16 had just one poster above the 100 mark.
Alright, lets do some club v club. This one is to find out your favourite spammy club and well there is no surprise that the Old Boys are clear on top in terms of average match thread posts. Demons, Bombers, and Wonders round out the top four.
On the other end it's the Furies, but not by much with the Hawks, Gumbies and Dragons the only four clubs that averaged less than 200 each week.
The match thread number stuff is fairly trash when trying to review your own clubs and the unique posters statistic, more so the active poster statistic, are far better to look at.
While the Old Boys tops the posting quantity it's actually the Demons that top the poster quantity with an average of 18.4 posters showing up each week. The Bears are a clear second with the Bombers, Warriors, Royals, Old Boys, and Wonders are all among the average.
The Furies struggled to get posters to engage this season with an average of just 7.1 with the Gumbies and Dragons the next two close to the bottom.
This is a better statistic to gage your clubs activity with the average of posters to post more than 10 times each week.
This time the Old Boys are on top with the Demons in second. The Bears have the steepest drop off when you include this criteria followed closely by the Royals.
Now, lets take a look at how many inactive posters each club is keeping for no real reason.
The Demons are the only club that had every single listed player post this season and the Furies had the most inactive players listed as part of their squad. Three teams didn't have enough contributors over the course of the season to even fill a team.
Alright to finish this batch of graphs and numbers and stuff lets have a look at the club standings. If a team posted more than the other team in their match thread they get the win.
Again, on pure numbers, and again the Old Boys continue to be your spammiest club.
At some stage we'll grab these and compare them to seasons in the 'Old Boys Era' alongside some individual stuff and some team stuff as per other editions.
More to come...
