and how do you win?

The teams are fed into a qooty simulator which generates random moves between positions and creates a description based on the player name closest to that position.
Quarters are 25 minutes flat, no time on.
Whoever runs the sim posts the results in chunks, to add to the excitement and allow us to post during the game. Some posters take longer than others to drip feed the whole game.

The format is:
Quarter: Time in the quarter: Position: Description

1 : 16.37 {lHBF} - He involves PhenomenalV1 in the play.
1 : 16.43 {lHBF} - Crunching tackle by Braklet.
1 : 16.47 {CHF} - Robertio breaks free and has found some space.
1 : 16.51 {CHF} - Robertio nearly got done for running too far but he remembers to bounce at last.
1 : 16.55 {CHF} - A lookaway handpass to Over The Post.
1 : 16.59 {CHF} - Over The Post has time to take a bounce.
1 : 17.03 {CHF} - Over The Post has a shot from fifty.
1 : 17.07 {CHF} - That's one of those special goals. Number 1 for Over The Post.
OPHIDIAN OLD BOYS : 4.1.25
EAST SIDE HAWKS : 3.2.20

That's how it works; unfortunately there are some terrible bugs in the system that cause OOBs to lose, but we tolerate it because the code is written by Mobbs who is a great guy and we all love him.

Was all accurate until the last few words. :)

It can also be helpful to know the simulator basically runs around a 5 x 3 grid with the ball, and at each node uses random numbers to decide whether possession stays with the team which had it (hence the direction it'll go next) or switches back the other way.

Then there's a whole bunch of comments it draws from, using lists of comments and again a randomizer.
