Round 4
Sin City Swamprats v West Coast Wonders

The Swamprats will be looking to bounce back at home after a demoralising loss to the Old Boys in the grand final rematch at this very stadium last week, whilst the Wonders, rejuvenated after an early season bye will look to continue their winning ways after their first win of the season came against the Hawks last week.

The Wonders will be looking to continue their winning ways after a close fought contest against the Hawks away and continue their road trip at the Underground Stadium which has been a fortress in recent times for the Swamprats, another away win could be just what is needed to state one of the oldest clubs premiership ambitions to the wider league.

The Season So Far

The off-season began with a bang for the Swamprats with the signing of former Dragon and 5x All - SFA player serial_thrilla along with veterans tigs2010 and MP_ . Off the field that Spamrats have once again been blowing through pages with their unique posting style and the addition of rookie Raz has certainly helped contribute to the monstrous match threads this season, however their form on the Qooty field has been less consistent.

The good news for the Spamrats is a home game against the Wonders could be what is needed to kick-start their return to form and potentially go one step further than last season and take home a fourth premiership.

The Season So Far

The Wonders added Club and League legend eagleskickass back to the fold in anticipation of the milestone #Wonders700 however they unfortunately can't count on the long term participation of the legendary figure, however other additions such as akkaps and promising rookie Giant YoYo have proven shrewd signings to bolster a club that already features prominent figures like ClarkeM , AnUltimateRessie ,Pamcake1 , DenieD and HARPSichord .

The good times began in earnest in Round 1 for the Wonders as they celebrated a mighty and record leading 700 games in the league as well as honouring club stalwart Grand Uncle Horace's contributions, however a first up loss to the Demons slightly dampened the mood. Fresh off the bye, the Wonders secured their first win and could truly commence a strong campaign by backing it up here.

HARPSichord pulls a photo of himself and @damicky out of his pocket.

HARPSichord is handed a box of matches.

HARPSichord grins into the camera as he burns the photo.
Let me just put this here.

There will be some feeling in this one, that's for sure

I was bemused by the Wonders' record so far this season - LBW. It reminds me of a story, that I know the late, great Grand Uncle Horace enjoyed. Former England opener Graham Gooch apparently had an infamous recorded message on his phone:

I'M CURRENTLY OUT - PROBABLY LBW TO ALDERMAN :).

Hi Wonders 👋🏼

*except HARPSichord
Hi Remy Ratus.
Soz couldn't tell it was you, you all look the same like you were bred in the same swamp lab.
I took this photo for you at Queen Victoria Market last Friday.
