I've always said on this forum its not a crime to pay players its been happening in all leagues for 50 years, plenty clubs have failed with it , plenty of clubs have succeeded doing it.

Noble Park,Balwyn,Parkdale,East Brighton,StKilda City,St Pauls,Clayton all spent plenty from 1990-2005 at various times and all had success , Balwyn by far the biggest spender.

Yet , I dont think any club has made 4 grand finals in a row, thats our aim and our motivating force this year, to achieve something the super powers of this league couldnt.


ST Pauls 06,07,08 StKIlda City 07,08,09 Balwyn 98,99,2000, pretty sure NOble got 3 in the 90's have to check it

As far as Chelsea Heights goes , no doubt they feel there on the cusp so there going for broke, same goes for stpauls Id suggest there performance last year was a backwards step and its good to see other clubs angry and hungry to get out and have a crack

Not to mention the other 2 or 3 we lost just prior to 2005. Have been there plenty of times..

Firstly you questioned his loyalty when he has played at 2 clubs for the past 7 years.

In regards to sniffing at St Kilda city..... Your coach "Housten" contacted Taranto and offered him a job with his company but he declined the offer because he didn't want to play for a mercenary club, his preference was to play with his mates.

Is that right, I can tell you 100% when taranto wasnt happy at Noble , after he left cheltenham to chase dollars, he gave his number to one of our players who he played juniors with and that player passed the number on to me.

When our bloke told us his price range I didnt bother with a call!!! Fact

not sure if Richard had any contact with him, but i know he was handing his number out to a few clubs, and

at the end of the day, he probably left chelt to have success and couldn't find it in Noble twos and also a lot of players have big egos and love clubs ringing them , it also bumps there price up!

You seem to think you know alot about Taranto, why don't you give him a call like i did.

You're getting your main source of information from St Kilda city players........... thats about as credible as getting information from a used car salesman..

Maybe i could tee up a time for you to meet up and discuss why you're branding around baseless comments on an internet forum. Would you like that Rod?

Blues in 3yrs isnt a stkilda city person,if you do the smart thing and check his posts I cant see where he has ever commented on a stkilda city issue, also your the one who made a big deal out of it threatening and carrying on.
I can tell you 100% i have no idea who the bloke is or what club hes with , but good on him for confirming it.
Anyway, your just another stkilda city hater who cant handle the truth and when its confirmed that you are wrong , you back pedal and come with the petty comment above.

I'm actually embarrassed for you and your football club that is if you're holding a position in it. The level of professionalsm you have shown has been non existent, burning bridges with baseless accusations on second to third hand information.

Any prospective or current player that would be reading this will be wondering why the hell is a players details let alone false details being branded on an internet forum by an employee of its prospective or current football club.

a very awkward looking footballer. skills aren't great and doesn't read it all that well but his desire is outstanding. does need some very skillful players around him to bring him into the game as he is a little easily pushed off the ball if it is not delivered perfectly.
Is well regarded by his mates as someone they enjoy having around the club.

Mate, it was 3 or 4 years ago and I could not care less about what you think, the facts are I stand by what I said and its been verified by another person out side our club?

In no way did I mean to undermine andy taranto in anyway and I might have been a touch unfair about loyalty!

If this is legitimate you would assume the club would have to be Old Xavs as they have won most of the A grade flags in the last decade. Would find this very hard to believe. Can anyone substantiate this or is it just another crazy off season rumour?

It is Old Xavs and they have got at least 4 senior players going across. Also 1 VFL player I hear
