Getting Burger to 400 in this team might take a bit of the shine off his fantastic career. Ending his playing days, getting to 400 in a losing side, he offers leadership (needed) however he would be taking the spot of a player. I'm not so sure the he would want it this way.
I don't agree, this side takes nothing off his career, finishing in the brown and gold is all that matters.
What I think would take the shine off reaching 400 is doing it through the medical sub rule. If he finished up on exactly 400 and got there by essentially spectating a few games you can't exactly say he played 400 games.
I was just thinking getting silk to 400 will probably be the best thing about this year.
I think I said last week or perhaps the week before that it's all I'm looking forward too this year. Don't like his chances of celebrating with a win but I hope he brings the house down with a trademark silky goal.
