Two massive chokejobs in the finals and GWS are out in straight sets. Should Kingsley be worried about his position?

Seems like GWS need a veteran coach to get them over the hump. Especially with the likes of Nathan Buckley, Adam Simpson experienced coaching candidates available.

Are you serious? Or just taking the piss?

They were one of the favourites to finish close to the wooden spoon at the beginning of the last year

He then has taken them to within a kick of a GF. And a h&a top 4 finish the following year

The only coaches that should be in the hot seat at the moment are Longmuir (Fremantle), Nicks (Adelaide) and Hinkley (Port Adelaide). You could also make arguments for Beveridge (Footscray) and Goodwin (Melbourne) given how they really should be doing better with the lists they have.

His sear wouldn't even be warm let alone hot, he has done a great job turning the Giants back into premiership contenders.

If the Giants were stupid enough to sack him there would be a number of other clubs interested in hiring him as their coach.

Next in line to be fired, along with McRae and Chris Scott.

He's definitely not in the hot seat, but I did really question the tactic on Saturday night to put the cue in the rack by chipping it around with 15 minutes to go in the last quarter.

It spawned a negative mindset that lost us the game in a position that we should never have lost from.

Given the absolute ride Leon Cameron got, and how they were tracking towards the tail end of his coaching tenure, Kingsley should not be anywhere near the hotseat yet.

Yeah he should be replaced.
After 2 years, no flag, fck him off, he's hopeless!

Kingsley didn't instruct Brent Daniels to try a miraculous mid-air soccer goal from a ridiculous play on advantage, nor did he tell Tom Green to try multiple blind overhead handballs to Brisbane players late in the game.

He's done a fine job with the Giants.

If the same thing happens next season, maybe, but overall he's a great coach, you can see the Giants system is generally working. It just needs a few tweaks - like I mentioned in a thread I just posted (if any reads it haha), they need to deal with momentum changes, when the game isn't on their terms. They have also been the most consistent team this year, the only team to not really have been belted, which is also telling.

Keeping your coaching position is all about winning, questions marks have now been raised. Ignore them at your peril. The Giants were in front for 95% over two finals games, of course he's under the microscope, he wouldn't want a repeat in 2025 that's for sure!
