I resemble this remark. Are you implying that I'm not in my prime? You're quite right, BTW.**** no.
can we stop taking away the enjoyment of others because a small minority can't handle their piss.
also i think people are probably deluded if they think we are living in more violent times than in the past. from chatting with oldies (i'm talking 40+ in age) most tend to think that the conditions in which people are going out now is pretty much the same as in their prime time.
There just aren't enough laws to govern my behaviour.
I used to think the same way as you and as long as you're not stupid you're pretty unlikely to have any trouble, but these days i'm thinking does someone really need to drink post 2am? Not really.
But why are you the judge of that? I don't need people arbitrarily deciding when I need to drink.

Turn off the booze in all clubs at 2 A.M. Much better to have a horde of drunks on the streets all at the one time, looking for more booze, or as much trouble as they can manufacture. I guarantee there will be no havoc wrought. I'm sure the neighbours of such premises will be fiercely in favour of this.
'Tasers' is a more succinct description. If you are, quite rightly, trying to warn about a potential '1984' scenario, you're too late.Even better why don't we just fit everyone with electro-shock devices that deal out severe and just punishment to anyone who is not in bed by midnight?
At least then the streets will be safe.
Or better still, just turn the world into a giant prison...

Sounds like bars and clubs with violent patrons should be fined/prosecuted for serving alcohol to extremely intoxicated people...
So I say no since I don't think the rest of society should be punished.
