Oscar Allen done for weeks by the sounds of it. Tom Joyce done for weeks. At least we might see Sheed around the bye and Gaff in the next week or two. So not overly great but given this year unsurprising really.

Anyone out for over ten weeks can be mothballed now and id also retire Hurn and Kennedy and recruit the best young guys we can showing form in the vfl, sanfl or wafl. Get a jump on the opposition .

No idea, it's not going to happen though (retiring Kennedy and Hurn) unless they want to go. No way we treat them like that

Well waterman could have been playing in the team. But then we would be another injury away from no depth

Are we overly cautious with injuries. I've watched the last few Brisbane games and seen Zorko and Neale hobbling for 3 quarters and still come up for next week. Our guys get a tap on the ankle and get mothballed for a year.
I’m not sure if we are over cautious. As for Zorko and Neale, well they shouldn’t be playing if they are injured. And when they come back, they need to be in the VFL for several weeks at least. They cannot expect to just come straight back in!!!

How many guns (200+ gamers) are going to be found through the mid-season draft? Doubt it will even be one per year. You'll probably be lucky to get more than 6 guys in any given mid season draft go on to play 100 games at their new clubs.
Pick up a player or two up if we need to add some depth but don't retire off players to hit the mid-season draft where it is mostly just off cuts from the last few national drafts. That's an insane strategy.
