Suban isn't really a smokey given the amount he's talked about on here and elsewhere...

yeh suban is not a smokey considering he's gonna be a top 20 draft pick.. unsure about ryan mckenzie who didnt go to dc or state screening.. there could be a few smokeys from north ballarat this year though with them having a few good players

Agree about Silvagni beat every forward in the VFL this season bar the Liston winner who was much more experienced.He is only 21 a ready made footballer .

A smokey could be Peter Rolfe from south adelaide in the SANFL. He would have played most of the second half of the season and kicked a few goals. Once maybe 12 goals from six games...? What do you guys think of him? I see he did alright in the SA State Screening aswell. Dont think there is much hype about him but could be a smokey...

You could be onto something there. As you said played in the SANFL for most of the year, had started off pretty well but seemed to faded off at the end of the season. Very quick, and seems very good in traffic. Was impressive at the G for NT during the Champs, think he had a good Champs all-round also. He could sneak into the latter part of the ND.

Got best and fairest for NSW/ACT. Pretty good defender for his size played well against quite good opposition in the carnival.

Yes - and you have to turn up if nominated by clubs for national or state screening camps unless you have a medical absence

ie if only a couple of clubs nominate your or you are playing finals somewhere then you have to turn up to the national draft camp - but you still have to attend a state draft screening
