JAMES HIRD :thumbsu:

It's a fair point! I mean, how many people will be watching just to see if Hird can spark up as he usually does on Anzac Day.

Oh that guy with the ****y hair who is always injured?

:D

He makes an effort to not be injured for Anzac Day. :p

I know this may come as a shock, but im actually really looking forward to seeing if Taz and Rocca can continue on their goal kicking way or whether a generally weak Essendon defence can hold them.

IMO most of the entertainment for this match will be provided from the Collingwood inside 50 line.

More like proving to all and sundry that you have the personality of a broken record. Find something else to berate ad nauseam. This is old, you talk as if you captained Collingwood that day.

Wish I had a dollar for every time I've heard that over the years.

I think the Pies will win, they are looking terrific IMO, as I thought they might given a decent run with injuries. The Bombers aren't at all without a chance though, are a proud club and always seem to rise for these big Anzac Day clashes. Pies by 11 points.
Essendon are always a chance on Anzac Day. I think it will be a lot closer than some people suggest...

Being a one eyed magpie......I cant wait for tommorows game. I look at the collingwood team and think that is a bloody good team, u have to be at ur best beat that. BUT...........

When u play a team that has a man named James Hird in it, and ur playing on Anzac Day, then be careful. I believe James Hird can kick 5 goals and replace a Matthew Lloyd. So collingwood fans dont get to excited with lloyd's absence, because James will be there to try and spoil the party.

Come on Jimmy Clement, smash the blond pretty boy!!!

Hey guys, i do expect collingwood to win, not by a lot though, Sheedy will give some war speech before the game, which will turn a depleted bombers into something of a war machine, hey it works almost every year.

But at the end of the day, im hoping for a close game, with a magpies victory, we will need our forwards to fire, and need to hold lovett and Hird.

Its mighty jimbos last anzac day, and im sure we will send him out with a bag of goals. We will be looking to kick around 140-150 points tommorow. Unless hirdy can kick 10 i reakon the bombers are :D:D:D:Ded.

I could't give a "fat rats clacker" how much we win by,as long as the Pies win.
But then again,I don't know what would be better.
Belting them by 100 or beating them by a point.

Sheedy may soon be facing the sack at this rate. The bombers are struggling, Sheedy has no option but to flood these days, Lloyd gone for the season. Having to recruit Carlton rejects like Campo and Murphy to try and make the Essendon midfield competetive compounds Essendons woes further as that stops a young kid from developing in the middle. The biggest problem however is Fletcher, with his vast amounts of experience, one would expect him to nullify the oppositions best forward but week in, week out he's being beaten by sub standard forwards so it could just about be time for this useless hack to retire.

Very dark times ahead for the bombers it seems.

On a brighter note, the pies a flying, all hail Rocca!!

Should be a cosy training drill for the pies, a nice workout in preperation for round 5.

:)

I am not counting out the Bombers yet, they seem to fire on Anzac Day, I hope we do win, I am not getting ahead of myself just yet, I am waiting until that final siren rings out with the Maggies in front.

You should worry about tonights game.:thumbsu:

Re: So how will the bombers stop the Anzac day massacre anyway!!? Pies to win by 20 g

I wonder if ron will show him/her self in here if Essendon win?

The pressure is on Collingwood thats for sure, would not want to lose this one after the amount of hype surrounding them thats for sure.

Re: So how will the bombers stop the Anzac day massacre anyway!!? Pies to win by 20 g

we have a much better chance than people suggest

if we lose - only by 20 points or less

i can't wait for the game

ps - i hate ron - could he be a more arrogant :D:D:D:Dface? (serious question)
