Aker said he's on 3 strikes now, he tweeted it a few hours ago. The 3rd time was the recent time when it was found in his car.
So do I. Heard it 2nd hand from a Carlton board member.
If anything, Doug spread it around at a function IMO, but I was told he spoke.

shepp - that's the thing that gets me, someone can stand up and say whatever they like because they think they're in the know and then those people listening then take it away and repeat it as gospel and so it goes. It will IMO take a massive law suit to make people like Hawkins and aker more accountable when trying to impress the plebs at some function

If it is true then the AFL is a complete and utter joke and farce of a competition who would be putting at risk any level of professionalism and integrity they claim to have. Surely there is no possible way that the AFL would cover for any player. The ramifications for the sport would be enormous.
I don't think he would. He likes to let his football do the talking.
He must be jumping out of his skin to get out there. I'm expecting a big return when he does.

I can imagine Doug Hawkins spreading such a rumor, even more so if it was at a Western Bulldogs function recently. It may have gone something like this, "I wouldn't worry too much about young Libba Buddies on two strikes".

Getting a bit nervous about the 'rumours' now. Noticed today that Wooden spoon betting is listed as 'Suspended' for Hawks, but just doesn't have a listing at all for all the other teams that obviously can't finish bottom. Any ideas why ?
