I agree with the sentiment here. If we have to lose to anyone in a GF I think the dees might be at the top of that list. They’ve had a great year, a very likeable captain and evidently a good coach. Petracca and Oliver are great to watch, and that defence is ******* solid.

Their fans are long-suffering and a drought breaking flag is always nice to see.

I think after the initial emotion of the loss, the team on the wrong side of the result should be bolstered by the strong likelihood that they’ll be in the flag race up to their eyeballs for a few years to come.

It’s ironic that Lyon would have benefited from the divorce between Nicky and Billy in a financial sense. He has sworded his mates mrs and taken some coin off him.

Slightly leaning towards Melbourne as I think Goodwin (good Black Forest Primary lad) has done a great job (notably with significant help from Choco and Alan Richardson), but then there's Lever - another untrustworthy flog who underperformed when with us back in the 2017 GF and undermined the entire team. So hope he comes down with the Geelong lurgy before the game or gets soundly beaten - but Dees manage a win!
