Maybe wrong thread ....Just a heads up, as I understand wine tasting out side the grounds but no access to alcohol inside the ground on Sunday. Also on Saturday there is the Austcham Shanghai summer BBQ at Wellington school 10-5pm tickets at the door, should be a big expat crowd and local footy teams playing. Not sure if this info has been posted anywhere else, sorry if it has.

For those travelling, check your email from KT and I guess will be up tomorrow on the club's website. Looks like he wrote in late Thursday night Shanghai time.

There have been a few last minute hitches - around security and learning Chinese customs. Access to training has been cancelled. Can still go to the stadium on Saturday to pick up tickets, buy merchandise etc but security concerns means the gates will be locked.

No alcohol will be sold inside the ground but plenty will be sold outside the ground on Sunday. Sounds like it isn't Chinese custom to have alcohol at sporting events as they want family friendly environment.

Been in Beijing since 9th. Seen a few port tour groups at great wall mutianyu on 10th. Though the ones spoke to, they were express training to Shanghai on 11th.
