I sort from last to first and copy 5 songs at a time. It took me less than a minute on mobile to collect results. 2 minutes to copy to big footy

Glad you played this round well. I did the same. Went for a song rarely nominated, could get votes, could get billies. If I take scat man, it was true to the round. I may not have voted for yours, but I certainly didn't billy it. I thought the bote whores deserved the billy for not playing the round true.

Would hardly be a "bolter". A bolter would be a team like Adelaide, Hawthorn, or us making the 8. Carlton are expected to make the 8 next year.

Tend to agree, Carlton is definitely poised to make the 8. I don't think we'll see any bolters this coming season, but I think Collingwood is vulnerable.

I thought the previous nommed songs this round were all previous podium getters so wouldn't that make yours a whore too? Though I probably didn't realize there was other previously nommed songs outside red ballons, eileen and the tori amos one.

What do you mean by played the round theme properly, the host accepts the noms so they are entered under the terms of the theme, just because you might not think they meet theme doesn’t mean they haven’t

The theme was nonsense songs, with no context or further explanation. It means people can take the theme how they want and as long as the host accepts it, it is a valid interpretation.

I agree with what you're saying. I did discuss earlier about music being personal and I used Terrible Love as an example. While some may feel conected with that song and relate to the lyrics, I don't understand what they mean. Maybe I should clarify and say songs I FEEL are more closely connected with the theme got my votes.

I have also stated many times that I favour fresh songs over recycled songs. PS: Space Oddity was a rare exception
