Song Contest Part XIX, Host: GreyCrow, Theme: Free For All, Votes Due: Wednesday, 10pm AEDT

Should the billy be abolished?

  • Yes - it's long run its course and would reduce billy bait

  • No - it adds some fun and discussion to the contest

If anyone else wants to host and come up with a theme then feel free, I've got a lot on the next few days playing gigs for The Panics and all that jazz.
I can host

We've had songs over 10mil recently I think, now let's shrink that down somewhat

Theme: Songs with under 1mil views on Youtube
Rules:
No previous noms or versions of the song
Extra rules: The clip must have been submitted by the band themselves, one of the artists in the band, the band's label, or if the nom is from a movie, the movie studio. It has to be submitted by someone associated with it.

If the band has 2 versions, one with over 1mil and 1 with under 1mil, this is ok

Noms due Thursday 9.30pm
and
Votes due Sunday 9.30pm

I'm assuming no version of the song can have 1 million views? Just in case someone finds a loophole and noms a lyrics clip with a low number of views.

That'll be lots of effort to chase up

To counteract that, i can set the rule of the nom must be submitted by the band or the band's label

All good mate. I'll blame TubbsFarquhar for his Billy rather than any missed votes!

Will get to noms later today as work blocks everything and i haven't yet found a way around the firewall rules.
