Should the billy be abolished?

  • Yes - it's long run its course and would reduce billy bait

I don't think you understood what I said, that's fine. Maybe getting revved up defending a pedophile isn't the best of looks though.
"Referencing the crime" - is it a song about paedophilia is it?
Who's defending a paedophile? I'm defending a song. Only an idiot would think otherwise.

6 weeks at number 1 in the UK that Rolf Harris song. Last number 1 of the 60s and first number 1 of the 70s.

I thought it was about 2 boys growing up to go off to war together.
He has no idea what its about. Sees the title and jumps at the chance to be offended.

If I created an account, I certainly wouldn't nominate crap from the Shins. Come at me
Maybe you planted a red herring for your first contest

I mean my post was literally saying that the title relates to his crime, I didn't comment on the meaning of the song. Please save your outrage for something worthwhile.

5. Burn For You - John Farnham GreyCrow classic track, and first difficult song I ever mastered playing
4. Keep Your Splendid Silent Sun - sleepmakeswaves Riviat
3. Purple - Hollow Coves Purple7x08_24
2. One Long Day - Cold Chisel Fossie 32
1. Australia - Gyroscope SM

Billy. Two Little Boys - Rolf Harris (Knew this was Haysus. Called it when I boted.).

HM's Peter Allen, Men At Work, AB Original, Spinifex Gum, The Shins, WPA, Christine Anu

I understand your POV and I reckon that's probably why The Jesus intentionally nommed it.
It's apparently a very old song. I ignored the obvious billy bait. Musically, there wasn't much wrong with it. It's like people billying me for Lostprophets for what the arseh*le singer did as opposed to the song itself. Same concept.

Same concept but this was even more overt given the song title which was my entire point that Ula has likely deliberately ignored to go on a typical rant of his. If the Lostprophets song title had been a reference to babies or something equally gross then it would have been in line with this. Just my take and everyone's entitled to their opinion.

An uncomfortable idiot.

Rolf Harris did a cover of Divinyl's I Touch Myself. I won't post it, but he's moaning as he plays the wobbleboard. Yeesh.

Don't give The Jesus any ideas!

As bad as the Don Burke pollinating a philodendron video.

I deliberately focused on it you idiot. You carry on about a title as if it was deliberately referencing a future crime and completely ignore the song itself. Laughable

I think the post explains pretty clearly what I meant and you still not getting it doesn't change my opinion on it. But that's fine, you're entitled to your opinion. Perhaps consider expressing it with less personal abuse next time.

Surprised someone billied a song about blak deaths in custody, specifically that of Julieka Dhu who died in incredible pain.
Why don’t you like songs about Tasmanian cannibal convicts?

It’s already on his playlist I’d imagine
I actually have the song on my iTunes LOL. A former colleague of mine gave me a CD of songs, it was for Andrew Denton's Breakfast Show Musical Challenge. I really liked Neil Finn's cover of Sexual Healing haha.
