Baroness/Gojira/Mastodon sideshow is real tempting.

Same night as Megadeth, Volbeat and Newsted... Brutal.

Huge Megadeth fan and have seen the other 3 a couple of times each so will probable head to the Forum. But still... That's a monster triple header.

STP weren't a must-see, but they could have been interesting to check out. I haven't seen The Living End, so will check them out if there are no serious clashes.

Can't even begin to describe how good this will be.

Not huge on Gojira. I like their sound but haven't really listened to them enough but, Mastodon and Baroness on the same bill!

Would love Baroness to rip out Grad. Was a bit of a red herring on the Red Album but it was just so perfectly done. Sounded like a classic Isis-style album interlude. Isak would also be enomous as well.

Saw Mastodon last time they came, after the release of Hunter and it worked really well. So eclectic and it certainly allowed for a few changes of pace. Creature Lives was glorious.

Yeah, I've been listening to Gojira a fair bit lately so I might grab a ticket to the Sydney sideshow; especially as they're only 75 bucks.

Already going to the Megadeth/Volbeat/Newsted show but extremely tempted to do the big triple header... Meant to be saving for a big trip though and I'm your every day broke uni student so might have to give it a miss...

So Stone Temple Pilots have cancelled due to going over scheduled time for recording their new album. Replaced with The Living End.

They've sacked Scott Weiland anyway. I think the singer from Linkin Park is their new front man. I love the Pilots but not without Weiland up front.

Whitechapel replace Newsted on the Megadeth Sidewave as there seems to be more Megadave beef.

Whitechapel seems so out of place on that bill.

I'm as big a Megadeth fan as there is, but there's no denying Dave is a right campaigner.

Sounds like they were trying to get AJ to lie about the Newsted situation.

I have a mate who is a promoter, and he said that without a shadow of a doubt, Mustaine is the most bizarre, delusional and downright horrible person he's ever worked with. Not surprised in the slightest.

I didn't realise the Biffy show was sold out - Was contemplating going with a bunch of friends.

Their last album was embarrassingly shit though.

I'll still end up regretting it.

Yeah i agree. What's also interesting is that the gig never made it to the Soundwave website, or the Soundwave Touring FB page like the rest of them did.

Also, :thumbsu: to your username ;)

GWAR sidewaves announced today.. Will be going to the Melb one unless the A Day To Remember and The Ghost Inside show is announced for same night.

Either way looks like I'll have 3 sideshows in a row and then the festival on the friday.
