And speaking of Argy Bargy, I notice that the MPNFL site is looking fantastic. Taking Agry of for the duration of the alterations appears to be paying off!
Come on Madman. He was lucky he didnt get more. Van Dam would have been impressed the way he fly kicked Gwinny from the ruck contest. I was standing right under it!!! Paul Youl got sucked in that day!!!

I'll be in the twos, will be seeing blac04 in the middle I think. We'll have Spotty down there, so wouldn't be surprised if something happened, lol. I think you'll see a lot of new faces in the marroon and blue/yellow and blue/green wih white and yellow stripes... God I hope we get jumpers soon...

Just got home from watching the new juggernaut of 2nd Div Dingley. Very polished side, glad we don't play in the MPNFL if they were wopped every week last year, will definately go close, young, fast and plenty of height. Good club all round.
Good to see Fintrak, oops sorry I mean Parkmore's buying of a Div 3 premiership pay off in Div 2. The hard yards are ahead to keep the club running. Maybe they should have worked hard to create a player base from the start, then buy alot of players, now they have neither. Bad decission by the committee last year, or was it the leauges executives faults for allowing this! Another Southern Team that will fold!!

Interesting to see 4 out of 5 games in Div 2 were 100+ point margins (& two were exactly 101 pts for the record)

Watched Heatherton on the weekend and if they show the same commitment and courage as they did in the first half against Chelt for the rest of the season they will win a few games. Gee they had a crack and did their club proud. Just ran out of legs late in the game. Little Japanese kid is a beauty. Too small to tackle and was everywhere. They just lack genuine talls.
Any early predictions of who is going to go down from Division 1 this year?
I think Mordi are struggling at the moment, alot of there recruits seem to be duds (for the lack of a better word). They basically threw away the game against Tooronga Malvern on the weekend, and they were lucky against Heatherton.
Also how is Highett travelling this year, I see they play Mordi this week- should be a good game. Would be interested in any tips on the game.

there seems to be two tiers in div 1.
st kilda city, chelt, st pauls, clayton are the strong teams and mordi, highett, east brighton, tooronga, heatherton and chelsea heights are the battlers.
i think it will be out of tooronga and mordi to go down. heatherton from what i saw on the weekend should beat them both. (mordi second time around)

We're not going too bad, St. Kilda City was a huge ask, but we did finish the game with no bench & i think we won the last quarter. Our back 6 are playing well together led by Lloydy, the mid 4 are doing their "workman-like" job every week.
Jason Mead was missed last year and has set the forward line alight so far this and we do have a number of options down there.
The younger guys are coming along nice.
Whats happened at Skye, have all the scribes been grounded ? or was all the pre season talk just talk ?

It was a terrible performance on Saturday but we will bounce back, as all clubs do!! I am tipping that wont be the only loss for the season, these things happen, teams have bad days, its whether you can bounce back, take it on the chin and perform up to your full potential!!
You must remember 1 thing, it was not anyone from skye talking us up during the preseason, I am the only person officially involved in skye who posts, the rest are supporters who have faith or smart a$$es from Doveton or other clubs that post crap!!

Will you bounce back this week !!!!!!! i'm not so sure MM Cerberus down there could test you where sitting 2-1 and an easy one this week so it's looking on the up.
Anyones a nutcase if they think Cerberus is an easy game at home!!
Once again they are another team that we have never beaten so Our backs are against the wall, we must fight through it no matter what!!
I have confidence that we will play alot better than last week!!
