How people are still pathetic enough to be slinging around racial insults in this day and age is beyond me. Christ there aren't half some idiots out there infecting society these days. And of course they say it from the safety of the other side of the fence too.

On a side note though, I'd absolutely love to see someone dare make some rubbish racial comment to the Machine of Southern Dragons fame's face... Not to mention the few other huge units they've got playing for them too.

speaking of that... i know its a low level comp and all, but is it still illegal to use steriods? I mean, lets be honest for a second, not for 1 second do i believe thats a natural occurance... You can get 1, maybe 2 players in a team that can be just massive and credit to them, but to get 4/5/6 in a side becomes more than a coincidence?? :D
Its like the (womens)chinese swim team in the olympics a few years ago... where 1's doin it, theres more.. I'd think there would be a few nervous players in that locker room if there was a random test

surely being a low level grade of football people wouldnt be subjected to random drug tests. in fact am 99% sure no one in the SFL get drug tested at any level. Who cares what they do with there bodies. If they want to put up with the side effects good luck to them. ..

Qwert, you have to be kidding right? Chinese swimming team now? My goodness, I can't believe that's what you think. And implying that more than one of the dragons are taking performance enhancing drugs for recreational Footy on the weekend, you have to be kidding. Tell me what club you are from, we will make sure we take this up face to face. Talk out your concerns to the boys you are accusing. Unbelievable...

Mount SMASHED Sandown by 100 points... not good for the number 2 side in the comp...
Southern rolled by Doveton... im sure there will be more on this
and Moorabin hold on against a surging Dandenong....

Looking forward to the business end of the year

WELL DONE Endeavour Hills on your clubs first Senior win, Puts Doveton back in the finals race. Is this Mount Waverleys year or will they choke again? Might be a report from the Doveton/ Dragons game. Think it was number 11 again but dont quote me on it.

Well I think this might just be the end for No 11, as I believe he was over last time but Wayne and the SFL still allowed him to play. They certainly wouldn't alllow it this time if he was found guilty.

As for the new comer to the league E/Hills they have certainly had an impact. In fact I believe that they might just be leading the pack with tribunal cases !!! Come on Doveton your letting your record go here. :D:D

I also see the Dandenong V E/Hills issue is still going on ???

and

the Mt Waverley V E/Hills issue ??? :D:D

I have heard a rumor its now in the hands of the police as the SFL havent acted on it properly and a few players will be up on charges, also the player who was assaulted has gone to the papers with his story. Like i said its all rumors at the moment anyone care to comment? Please

That guy is a farqing loon. A disgrace. I don't understand how the pathetic administration of this competition allowed this criminal to continue to play after he continues to get reported time and time again.

What's this, the third time now this season? No doubt Doveton will just say they need players, they don't have enough, and then he'll get off with another 6 weeks 'suspended.'

What an absolute joke this whole affair has been.

To say we choked is not paying Hampton enough credit. They were quite simply a better team and proved as much three of the four times we played them last season.

Even when we shut Scott out (the first Final) they still beat us comfortably. Then in the final he booted ten and the difference was practically the same... Though to be honest it didn't feel like the score reflected those games themselves, not that that helps our cause either, but just saying.

Anyway, do any of the Sandown boys have any info on how their number 7 (I think it was) is going? His head hit the ground hard in a tackle on the weekend and he had to be stretchered off as a result. An ambulance came to pick him up, apparently he was concussed last week too?

What's the word on him? He's a good bloke, and was having a good game to boot.

Yeah mate, just start off by saying well done to mount on a very impressive team display. They quite simply play for each other and are very well drilled.

In regards to number 7 (ie me), i was tackled hard (but fair), and twisted my back as I hit the deck. Scans show just a slight tear between the lat and the attachment. Hopefully only miss the 1 game. Kudos goes out to the mount Waverley trainers who were brilliant and got to me and were very supportive.

The previous week I got concussed but that was friendly fire apparently.

Good to hear you're ok Turbo. Looks like a few casualties from the game with Weeding finishing on ice as well. Perhaps depth is about to be tested?

Thanks mate, very lucky that it wasn't worse but that's the risk you take playing this wonderful game.

Losing weeds in the first quarter wasn't great, but we do need some players to step up, I myself included. Although we have some quality players out, injury is not an excuse as we fielded the same amount of players that you guys did.

It's a tough stage of the season, which has seen some surprising results.
Moorabbin are playing good footy, and who would of thought that doveton would have ran over the top of southern.

Apparently there was a bit of a melee between lyndale and EH.... Don't know any details myself, anyone care to elaborate?

Is there any truth to the rumor that cobras back line player Daniel Maskiell has done his ACL and the doctors have told him to choose another sport? If so a nice guys career cut short at a young age as well.

Yeah very sad news. As you guys would know, top bloke and a great competitor...

Bad luck Turbo, I was looking forward to playing on you again this week... Will have to wait for the finals! Sounds like injuries are hitting you guys hard. Fingers crossed all the teams that play finals in 5 or so weeks are at full strength or close to :thumbsu:

I dont know how many times I've heard this... lol. I'm not sure whether it's a compliment or if I'm just really unliked!

We have been hit by injuries pretty bad, but like I said earlier, we field the same amount of players as the opposition and some players need to step up. We would like to think that some of these players will be right finals time.

But your right, hopefully everyone is at full strength come finals time to make it a competitive and enjoyable finals series.

Any predictions on the final 5?

There is only 1 spot up for grabs in the 5.

True. But ladder predictions anyway, since I'm bored.

1. Mt Waverley - currenty 1st, Lyndale/Dragons/Moorabin/Doveton/EH, should finish on at least 14 wins, hopefully 16, but 3 finals contenders going in will be a good steadier for us

2. Sandown - currently 2nd, Dandy (W), Lyndale (W), Dragons (W), Moorabin (W), Doveton (W) finish on 15 wins.

3. Moorabin - currently 3rd, Doveton (W), EH (W), MW (L), Sandown (L), Lyndale (W) finish on 11 wins.

4. Dragons - currently 4th, EH (W), MW (L), Sandown (L), Lyndale (W), Dandy (W) finish on 10 wins.

5. Doveton - currently 6th, Moorabin (L), Dandy (W), EH (W), MW (L), Sandown (L) finish on 7 wins

6. Dandenong - currently 5th, Sandown (L), Doveton (L), Lyndale (W), EH (W), Dragons (L) finish on 7 wins

7. Lyndale - currently 7th, MW (L), Sandown (L), Dandy (L), Dragons (L), Moorabin (L), finish on 5 wins

As you can see, lyndale have a tough month ahead. Hopefully Sandown's much talked about injuries don't hinder them too much, but I can't seem them dropping enough games to slip to 3rd. Not that it would matter anyway, as 2v3 in the first final anyway.

The Moorabin/Dragons game will be a crucial one, it will effectively decide 3rd/4th on the ladder, which is a double chance for the winner.

I've picked Doveton to pip Dandy on percentage, which is a tough call, but reality I think it will come down to some of the other games anyway, Doveton have some good chances to knock off higher teams in the coming weeks, so if they just nab one of those games then 5th will be theirs anyway.
