Oh he used that line again did he sounds like a broken record that guy they wont ever get anywhere while he is at the helm

so he should have used that line, doveton beat skye up in the 1st half, and the skye boys didn't want to go near it. every time they picked it up they got crunched by 2-3 eagles and at half time it looked like doveton would win by 10 goals. unfortunately for doveton, it appeared as though both sides swapped jumpers for the 2nd half. full credit to stephens for the turn around.

Thats exactly what happened. Both teams played a half. Unfortunatly for us, we lost. Dont know where they got the arguing from. We had some of our leadership group have a go at the team as a whole, which includes themselves, but this was undersatandable as we let a 20 point half time lead slip!! Or a 5 goal lead slip just before half time! At any level of footy, that probably deserves a spray.

No problems at all i spose

do you watch alot of skye games, or all of div 3??

Watch a few Div 3 games as I know a few blokes, mainly Skye ones.

bribed MUZZA with a few pies.

Pretty sure Muzza doesnt have anything to do with Skye anymore "Always" so that would seem a silly thing to say. How are your boys travelling down at Doveton?

They were harder at the ball in the first half quite noticebley. You were right that it looked like Skye were in for a drubbing. But isnt that what good sides will do. Bounce back. Stephens did look a relieved man after the game. The young kid in the ruck did well for Skye I thought. Some of Dovetons kids were very slick early too. Decent contest.

Agreed. Did hear it was an altercation though. You might be missing for a couple of weeks one would think Scratcha.

Great Win by the SKYE BOMBERS Yesterday in a thriller down @ the hanger !
which now puts them on top of the ladder

Taking on Skye on there home ground this year is going to be a massive task for any side that ventures down to Wedge Rd Oval ..

Overheard Dovetons Coach @ Half time saying -- They Dont want the win or the ball , boys we have them .. Well done Mate as the bombers didnt leave all the talk in the change rooms , they put it on the scoreboard

You have no idea Dildo, Ramma was pumping up his players that 's what coaches do you moron.

Anyone else agree the SFL have got the Queens Birthday Long weekend wrong by skipping a whole round completely? Instead of them pushing:

HAMMERS V BOMBERS
EAGLES V REDLEGS
CERBERUS V COBRAS
MOUNT V DRAGONS

to the following week, they have skipped the whole round completely.

This could cost some clubs at the end of the year...

dissapointed to hear at training tonight that a senior player was hit by a spectator from over the fence on saturday. whilst we can't say he was from a particular club, it seems obvious who he was supporting!! also, wandering if a reported player from doveton will get some support from the player he struck?? only seems fair as he struck him for grabbing him on the nuts!!

Shelf stacker. Dont go jumping the gun. Our club has done a full investigation into the first matter and I can provide proof if you like. Think it may have been a thrown ball not a punch (doesnt make it right) We do not stand for that carry on. May even be a case of didnt know who he was barracking for. Dont throw mud.
Our players play the game hard and fair, just as you blokes do. Dont know whether it was an accidental contact or a grab. Be very careful what you say. A big hit in front of the umpire regardless wont go all that well at the tribunal. Out of character for Scratcha, plays the game hard and fair also.
Look forward to our next contest.

Its never your clubs fault but they are always getting into situations that are Ugly to say the least!! it about leadership the right leadership something your Club lacks big time.
Its a case of the Apple doesnt fall far from the tree

Is that aimed at me and Skye Football Club or at Doveton.
If it is at Skye. What ugly incidents do you refer to?

All i will say is i wasnt reffering to Sky its up to you to work out the rest
there is a common understanding from most Div 3 Clubs that the same club play the Game in the wrong spirit i would Refer to it as Coward ball
and the problem stems from their so called Leaders Coaches senior players ect its time to clean the Cuboards or this Club is Doomed because the league are sick of it

This makes no sense. The fixture is simple. Rounds 1-7. Then rounds 2-7 reversed. Then rounds 1-5 again.

Instead, they could have still had queens b'day off (to keep inline with the other 2 divisions who play each team twice and it fits nicely), and had rounds 1-7, then 1-7 reversed, then 1-4 again. In which case some teams would still be disadvantaged if they played lower ranked teams in rounds 5-7. As it stands now, you are disadvantaged if you play the lower ranked teams in rounds 1, 6 and 7.

Either way you have to play some teams 3 times. You're suggestion would have just shifted the current advantages/disadvantages to other clubs.

it doesnt matter as the top 4 is set and the best teams will earn the top 2 positions is the top 4 not the best 4 in Div 3? the only intresting part is who will have the form in the finals?
Mount fail again?
Hampton front runners?
Sky are they the real deal?
Doveton will they ever play with disipline?
Only time will tell

Big game this week between Mt and Skye. You may get a couple of those questions answered. Who does Doveton and Hampton play this week?

Just wanna know long you have been observing Div 3 for??? Just this year??

Just wanna know long you have been observing Div 3 for??? Just this year??

l have been watching SFL for the last 3 years all divs watch around 16-18 games per year + finals watch all div 1 2 and three games.
Always look out for the best players most are non preformers in div 3
div 2 has some handy players and the top end of div 1 has many good footballers.
I think i am well qualified to make judgement on players i watched i never comment on players i havent seen
The thyme i get from mount players supporters on here is they live in a fools paradise they have failed in the big games yet they always bring up the minor premiship thing.
If you cant win it this year you would be the laughing stock in div 3
All the contenders no if you play hard disipline football mounts front runners Cafiso.kirkup, Banarby, wilkins and co they fold big time
good luck because i think Sky might be the team to beat.
at this early stage i am tipping a Sky vs Hampton G/F

Why do keep mentioning that Div 3 footballers are non performing compared to Div 1??? Ive seen it on a few posts of yours now! Dont you think the majority know this anyway, and play Div 3 because they dont have the skill level, talent or committment (due to various rreasons) to most Div 1 teams?? Just a thought!
