disrespectful. After having the game handed to them on a silver platter by the umps Grahek decided to come and mouth off to the coaching staff. Won't be forgotten down at Canterbury.
Umpiring was the worst game I have ever seen, can an unbiased observer back me up on this one?

Absolute disgrace from Grahek, never seen a more arrogent display of bad sportsmanship in all my 18 odd years of playing this great game. Yeah you won a close one, be excited and joyous but you don't have to run the length of the wing telling the crowd to get F*&%ed and making a rude gesture, espeacially when famillies with small kids are in that area because of the play ground. But as usuall nothing will come of it due to a vested intrest by a Southern League official in the Yarra's side, and you won't hear any comment on here from the yarra boys. Was talking to a few of the two's boys yesterday and posting on big Footy has been out lawed by the coaching staf down there. As for the umpiring.......... well i never knew you only had ten seconds to take a set shot!!!! (from the umpires mouth) But in fairness to the umps they umpired the twos and the ones which i believe is an absolute disgrace on behalf of our league, their bad descision making in the last quater of the ones could be mainly contributed to fatigue in my book for the were completely caught out of position on every occassion. What is Holdsworth doing?!?!?!?

You can get a new coach and some new players, but you cant take the moron out of Sth Yarra.
Would not like to play Sth Yarra in a final with the SFL Operations Manager playing for them. This has to be the biggest conflict of interest i have ever seen. He should be stepping down as a player or official!!!!!!

the canterbury vs south game was the worst umpiring i have ever seen, in all my life watching footy.. canterbury were up by 3 goals with 4 minutes to go, and the next three kicked by sth were all from free kicks that weren't there.. how can one umpire have a rule of 10 seconds lining up for goal then play on, and the ump at the other end not..
as for that absolute dic khead player who yelled at the cobra bench and crowd after the game i hope canterbury put veets on him next time around..

Had to work on the weekeend and I was going to ask if anybody had seen the Cant v Yarra game but no need to.......I think we all have seen and should all be concerned and the standard of umps this year but guys its not going to change so we will have to live with it and play to it! If Cant was 3 goals up they should never had lost from that postion! what they never touched the ball in 4 minutes come on guys.....it was either bad coaching or players being frustrated at the umps and therefore lack of concentration which cost the game ! Was there any reports from the game ?
Looks like I'll be going to the next Canterbury vs Sth Yarra match!!! Should be a fairly willing contest. Were there any reports? The umps were terrible at the dandy v skye match too in my opinion - just not as terrible as the game at c'bury I'm guessing!

Trust me, had to be there to believe it with your own eyes! Umpiring was absolutely disgusting! No reports to my knowledge. Berries did touch it in the last minutes, but like with every close game, so did Sth Yarra. Trouble was, every time they got near it in their forward line they got interesting free kicks paid, not to mention a mark that clear hit the ground first. Anyway, that game is over, and bring on Round 7. But beware; Any team/s that get that umpire next time, you have only 10 SECONDS TO HAVE A SET SHOT AT GOAL!! Hopefully he checks his rule book next time, or at least is consistant with this apparent rule!
