as far as i know he just came for a run, has made no decision as yet!! as for the check out chick insult, i'm the bloke that employs them in the hope that by the time they turn 18-19, you blokes have something decent to look at when you do the groceries. very important job!!

We had a Stuie Bennett who runs a gym in Prahan, maybe related? Not sure, most of us are new to the club after the 2006 recess.

yeah i remember him his knickname was hoppy from memory.he looks like a superstar on the track but that didnt translate to games.he was pretty young back then so he might have improved.i heard that he might be playing for heatherton this year im sure he will play plenty of games under mongo this year!!!!!!!!!!

Not being able to drive has to be a problem, but having a shopping trolley at your beck and call can have it's advantages. Found the ones on Ballarto Road were a bit dicey though, thought one of the wheels would have packed it in by the time he hit Wedge rd, not Power rd.
Seriously though, disappointing about Muzz.

Doesnt look like big 'Jules Smith' is going anywhere as he was at the Coaches and Captains night the other night. I think South will be the big improvers this year.
Also interesting to see that Mt have signed a bloke from Waverley Blues on the clearance page (If i read it right). Big rumour there is a few more to come. M Lion you play your cards very close to your chest. 6 or 7 new recruits you say, i think it might be a few more mate. (1st top 4 side)
Cantebury boys also looked very fit at the meeting the other night, i think they will be right up amongst it again this year. (2nd top 4 side)
That only leaves 2 spots for the rest of us. All looks in good shape for a tight season. Not far to go now boys.
How are everyones practice matches looking, do you all have grounds to play on. We are only a certainty for 1 game at the moment, depending on the grounds.

i noticed jules wasnt at training thanks for the update.id hope sth yarra improves they missed the wooden spoon by percentage and they need to improve.3 practice matches are locked in i will let you know how we went after round 1

As i said previously, we have picked up a couple of players
, but as you all know, you could always do with some more.
I don't think yo are shattered about Mussa MM. Now you can drop into the square with noone else to steal the glory. MM for league goal kicking 2008, that's my thought anyway.
Would you believe Phil Ballis rang Jules because he heard he might be leaving and was trying to poach him? Mathieu Dube got a call from him as well only about two weeks ago. Still trying to top up his list over at West Heidelberg I'd say. I reckon they might be disappointed, Phil would have promised them more than the three mediocre players they got.
Theres a man by the name of Shane Rowley who I wouldve thought would be more than handy in the goal sqaure!! The man is a legend already in my book, apart from the fact he plays for moorrabbin park, U sicken me rowley!!!!
I like the 1-2-3 punch combination deep in the forward line, hopefully mussaridis may still join me in 2008
Id say more up the feild role for me this year, if i make the ones that is, pre season hasnt exactly gone to plan for me at the moment!!!

Are you kidding MM. Rowley is a big fat slow useless footballer who kicked some goals some years ago. Don't think he will bother too many teams.

I'll be the 1st to admit that he aint going to run a mile in 2 minutes but the man will be hard to stop in the ruck, chf,ff,chb wherever the coach decides to play him
