Stacey & Gough clearly the biggest losses, but add to that Dennis (next best midfielder) Rickard (best small forward) Dunn (best rebounding defender)
Add to that a few retirements eg. Both Jefferies brothers and what are you left with?
Not sure what ended up happening with Beecroft but if they have lost him too, wow

I think it's a no brainer that they miss the finals. Wilkin is the only thing holding that club together
Haha biggest load of crap seen on here for a little while.. Jeffries retirements? And no beecroft? I used to think you were in the know at Mount foots but you're a long way off here.

^^ This.

If I was everyone else.. I would just wait until the SFL finalise all transfers (usually done by Thursday afternoon) prior to Round 1.

Yes we have lost some quality, but happy with the guys coming in.

But who knows how every club is travelling until the first few rounds are played.

2015, New season and same old shit talking. God i love fake names and open forums.
Taking everything on here with a grain of salt and looking at who has left and who has stayed i can only offer this.

Mount- Still have wilkin who keeps getting better each year. Need to find a few too many key posts gone missing. Yes Gough kicked 100 goals but how many bags against bottom 5 sides. When it was hot in the kitchen i didnt see him get a kick against good teams. GF proved that. Stasey was a good player but can be replaced. Not sure how he was used in the GF but im sure someone can come in and do a better job. Finish- 5th

CPL- Dalton similar to Gough played well against lower sides, struggled against some of the better ones. With no real losses of note i see them being around the mark. Not sure how much the coach leaving players here? Will the new coach do a better job? Well only time will tell. If you can get them on the outside with pace they seem to struggle. Finish- Top 3

BR- No reported losses, well coached and have a few quality players. Gave Lyndale too much of a start in semi final and nearly snatched it. Dewar/Midfield/injuries the key here. If stay healthy, williams and co fire in the middle and natural progression from their kids. Can see them being a real threat to the flag. Only issue is weather or not they turn up on the day. Took both Mount and CPL to within a kick last year. But lost to Ashwood and Sandown at home? Finish- Top 3

Lyndale- Big Trev, Odel, Senior Coach and few others gone. Not sure how they can replicate this year on what they did last. Again like CPL if you can move the ball quick and make them accountable. Will struggle. 2s won the flag on back of players who couldnt be assed doing the hard work in the 1s so took it easy in the 2s. Lost too many and club is a rabble. Cant see them being a contender. Finish- 7th

Sandown- Good luck to Turbo on his new adventrure. Maybe can recycle some of the Sandown ideas in Div 2? Not gonna get into the off field stuff. Losing skipper coach and a group of players i see as a good thing. Allows the club to start fresh, but as someone previously stated need buy in from all players, coaches, supporters and committee to all pull in one direction. Not sure who they have added but depth beyond 1s. Happy to be proving wrong but with Mount see them as big sliders down the ladder. Finish- 8th

Ashwood- The hardest team to read. Play good football for 2 quarters get close to some good teams then go to rabble against others. How they will go with a new coach + addition of players who knows. Not sure of quality of the players that have gone their, but if they can mentally become stronger and not wilt under intense pressure which has happened over the last few years they will suprise a few. Finish- 4th

South Yarra- Not sure what to make of Sth Yarra again this year. Like Ashwood turn up for a half then drop away. Will need to start playing 4 quarter footy to start beating some good sides. 3 wins against bottom sides and only 2 wins above. With a ground that is a minefield at best, I can give no other certainties of this side than the cowbell will ring at Fritsch Holzer Park, how many wins they will get is anyone's guess? Finish- 6th

Moorabbin- Relegated from Div 2 and with no real form to go by apart from results from last year struggled. Not sure what excitement bringing back players from 3 years ago will have and why that's seen as a good thing? I would rather a young kid bust his nut for a club for 3 years and improve than bringing so called "loyal" people. Only based on what people have said in here and like i said before you can never trust anyone really lol Finish- Top 5

Dandenong, Endeavour Hills, Hallam
The loss of Dan the Man, Stryker will hurt the Redlegs. Cant see them threatening anyone really. The boys from the Hill. If they have money to splash around ill go he. With 10 people watching each game and more from opposition supporters i cant see them improving. Have a better Thirds side than Senior side? What does that say about your club? Hallam. Well with a young bloke taking over the presidency and playing stocks not really that deep cant see them beating anyone and could go 0-18. I do see that Nathan Hampton has applied for a clearance? Only decent player at the club, plays 2s and now wants to leave? Interesting. Apart from hosting night games with the grog squad on the hill nothing can be said Finish- 9th, 10th, Wooden Spoon

All the best to all sides in 2015

Average age of players at moorabbin would be between 23-25. And at least half a dozen to a dozen players are under 25 who have come up from ressies in he previous years showing massive improvement. Be on the lookout for some handy new recruits aswell. There is a little insight for you. Mall the best for23015

Top wrap. Hit plenty on the head that was worth a read.

Insight for you....Unless you forgot about last year

Seniors won 1 game for the year kicking less than 10 goals a game and opponents regularly kicked 100 points against and your saying your bringing quality from the magoos who also won 1 game for the year kicking less than 8 goals a game? Come on mate...I dont just sit here and guess i went through and had a look at the results

No juniors, yes i will say that against stronger sides like Skye and Mordi and Caulfield you are always going to struggle, but from what ive heard about players backing up playing 2 games in one day in all grades doesnt bode well. Like i said picked up a few but lets see how they go. Happy to be proven wrong.

Haha said you didn't have much form to base on just giving a little bit into the club this year. First you say you would rather see a young bloke bust his nut for three years to make the side and now your saying improving young players from the 2's will do us no good? Slight contradiction... Last year was a forgettable year but that was last year and this is now. Will just let the year roll on I guess and see how it all pans out .

You must be close to the club, Anything you can add that will give us all an insight into what to expect from the Kangas this year? Where is the improvement going to come from to erase the -60pts each week? Best players? new recruits? players to look out for?

Last time i was at widdop the ground seemed to be in an odd shape. Goal Posts aren't opposite one another and ground was average at best?

Haha Spot on with the ground definitely could use a resurface, club has been training in the dark since I've been there so lights going in the next month or so is one positive to look at. For a start, there will sufficient players to field two teams so nobody will need to back up games. The midfield will be much improved this year with a few very handy recruits. Picked up a couple experienced key forwards. Got a few younger boys who've shown big improvements over preseason. Won't give away too much by saying which players to look out for, the clubs can decide that for themselves game day.
Then again round 1 hasn't been played yet and I could just be talking dribble and moorabbin will lose 100+ every game this year... All the best for the year, look forward to seeing you in round..?

Gee really done your homework there.

For the only paid club GM in the SFL being at Sandown and one who works in the media and entrusted to getting things right, I'm staggered the said GM released his clubs player list to the SFL for publication to allow all to see that their Coach for 2015 is Mick Rossborough!!! Gee the bloke even signed of a player transfer for Mick to Ashwood however still announces him as their coach. How could an experienced guy like this fail to send in the correct coaches name. Where is the respect for the guy who they have appointed, no not the first one that walked out but the 2nd guy? Why couldn't they get his name in the record on time for 1st round. How friggin embarrassing for all at the club.

Outrageous, he should be sacked immediately.......

jumping the gun a little here aren't we? Pretty sure the league are at fault with this one. AS you said yourself I find it hard to believe a "paid" GM would send the wrong details through. By the sounds of things the Mick would be the first name he would change. And lets be honest it's not the first time the SFL record hasn't been updated correctly.

Oh please.. Teams update those lists not SFL. All other new coaches changed and even Sandown playing list.

Curious to understand the reasons for smacking a General Manager who wouldn't be the person submitting the team lists to the SFL? Maybe they updated their lists online but didn't submit or didn't update the coaches names?
That falls as an admin job more than likely the secretary? Im sure Sandowns GM would not be the one who is entering the information, nor requesting to sign off on? Its not even Round 1 and the stupidity level is at an all time high.

Whatever beef you have with the club let it be and lets all focus on one thing.....and that is football on the field not stupidity

To be fair, Chelt sent through their team list for the footy record and due to a printing error, Dingley's was published instead. These things happen so probably the same thing has happened with Sandown's list. Not BP's fault.

Thought it was weird seeing the lavas brothers playing for you guys...

Played E/HILLS today. DEVASTATING
Mate, don't know where this rabble club found these players they should've beat us by another 10 goals. It's a long season & had a few out. Hills No thirds either apparently, on the up is what I'd say......will play finals
Hallam losing by 15 goals haha now 0-18 that's a great prediction
