ON Monday night, rather than tuning into the footy match, why don't you do the sensible thing and just watch something else?

play great footy last year, good footy at the start of this year and a couple of ordinary games(that featured a win against the bulldogs)

St Kilda have the lowest winning score at Telstra.
Going to argue that???

So you know it was boring from the scores F***wit.
There were plenty of inside 50s at the Saints end, but you know they struggled to score without the star forward.
Apart from scoring ( which the Saints were trying to do ) the only other option was to bleed goals to the opposition to make your life less tedious.
Why would they do that?

Er, no it isn't. Lower scoring matches generate higher percentage increases for the winning team than similar margain blowouts do. To use a simple example, a 15 point win with a scoreline of 60-45 is the equivalent in percentage terms to a 30 point win with a scoreline of 120-90. So over the course of 22 rounds, St Kilda's propensity to concede fewer points per match than anyone else actually boosts their percentage far more than teams that concede higher points per match.

I went to the game tonight and was happier than the Carlton supporters.
The Saints were too scared to play that crap they have been playing because of the public outcry and the negative media publicity.
In the end they lost when trying to play real football.
Now crawl back into your holes all you big mouthed St.Kilda supporters.
