Looked like we simply ran out of legs in that last 15 mins. The high energy free running game plan we saw in the first 2 1/2 quarters very hard to sustain. We needed some of our big guys like Grundy and Cox take command but alas both have been poor

Saints defensive set up was stopping our run, plus not winning the ball or taking any marks.

Generally heaps to be pleased with and excited about from our first two and a half quarters. Especially Lipinski, NDaicos and the continued progress of Ginnivan and McCreery. Pendles behind the ball looks good, as does Sidey spending more time forward. And DeGoey looks switched on.
Henry in particular and to a lesser extent TBrown and Bianco really seem to struggle with the step up in intensity and pace of AFL level. They might look great at training and in the VFL but at AFL level they look slow and hesitant. I don’t know how they’re keeping the likes of McRae, McInness and Poulter out of the team.
