I wish I had a bit more optimism but I struggled to pick a 22 this week that gives me confidence and we're only missing 3 or so players. Our depth is very inexperienced and the players that I like appear to be out of favour or coming off poor pre-seasons. Even with an easy draw I think we'll need a good run with injuries for a good year. Maybe its just my mood. I hope I have it wrong.

We're shallow as. We'll need a good run with injuries and we'll need the blokes that have been written off on here to go alright as well.

Everyone is too impatient to see the 2020 crop become regulars -they're very young and have missed a heap of footy. Not many of the top 10 draftees from last year have nailed down a spot in thier team yet, and we were picking late teens and beyond.

I have a mate who has had the 2 vaccines and booster and has twice had covid (the first time prior to vaccine 2), testing positive just a few days back to his second bout, only 3 weeks since getting his booster.

First one would have been Delta. Delta then Omicron is common. Omicron then Omicron is theoretically unlikely within the time frame that Omicron has been around, but no-one really knows for sure as they don't sequence it very often to confirm the strain.

No, I think you're right but you need to look at it this way, forget about results for this year, concentrate on game and player development. Both of which are very very raw but there's a lot of good potential there.

Remember the last dynasty team were certainly not THE best listed team in any of its flags. They won them on the back of system - that's what made them look so good, it wasn't unbridled talent.

I see the same thing here, if we can hang on, and hope like the blose and bomb outs don't flag before us - we could build that dynasty team.

I love the names they give them. Omicron was B1 and the new one is B2, who would have thought that bananas in pyjamas would be so influential

I don't think it's impatience. I'm content with us playing an experienced team on balance. But there are a couple of guys i'd like to see get games that don't look like they will. That dampens my excitement a bit.
