I actually don't know where Dingley is.

Like I've heard of it and have a vague idea of what it is near, but old Google Mapsy would be required if I were to have to get out there.
You'd have to imagine the Chad is a little disillusioned.

He left Port so he could be a Brunswick hipster, never realising where Dingley actually is.

Thinking that someone can convince Cogs to do something as big as this calls that into question.

Oh please just chill - if he was that righteous he would of signed early in the year. He received an offer too good to refuse, nothing wrong with that, it’s what we would all do and good luck to him. He’s a great guy from a great family with strong ethics and he would of been struggling with the decision - Gil’s comments would of added to that

I’m though questioning Gil’s and the afl integrity and aside from a litany of other stuff it’s because of a comment made today about GC getting a priority pick (which is to be expected) but the “watch GC make a massive play for King to join his brother up in Queensland”

If we are talking in the best interest of the game, what do you think should now follow

So how did you lot keep all your stars winning all those flags over a few years?

By signing them for unders on relatively short length contracts with the promise of keeping the flag train rolling. Not by never getting past a prelim, or by throwing $1m at 5-7 years at each of them every time another club came sniffing.

No one can wipe the smile off my face

Plus it is just commonsense.

If there was any evidence or even thought Of dodgy dealing it would be all over the AFL media.

Instead it's all been about the culture built at the club.

LOL.....Oh dear.

Consodering Gill has said that he wants players to stay where they are drafted, even mention Cripps and Carlton. Then I guess the best thing to do would be to ask him.

He has an opinion, last I looked that doesn't confirm dodgy underhanded tactics. Unless you are saying the Blues are as Well with Cripps?

Besides which if there was even a tiny bit of truth to it it would of been all over the media.

Each? May want to check our entire list.

whitfield would be an absolute massive coup... better than coniglio imo
Amazingly quick pirouette there my friend. Will your club not be happy until it has got or tried for every player on the Giants list.

Cogs was offered the same contract as Treloar in 2015. Treloar thought he was worth more so shopped himself around and left.

Did we throw $1,000,000 x 7 years to keep him?

You're completely wrong. He left Port so he could play Fortnite on this:

Dingley's will be even bigger. Sadly cogs is apparently not a big gamer.

Ok, so 'every time' is an exaggeration, but what are Kelly, Cameron and Cogs all on now per year? Even given cap inflation, Hawthorn never seemed to throw that kind of money at the premiership list during our 3 peat years, might have got close to try to keep buddy, but he's one player not 3.

Cap inflation is a major part.

But

Hawthorn list depth was better, ours drops off substantially

We will never truly know.

It’s all guess by work by people who have absolutely NFI.

Until player salaries are made available you’ll get conspiracy theorists jumping out of their caves to scream “RORT” because they’ve been fed bullshit mail all year and all the belligerent chest beating they have been crapping on with has all been for nought.

Pretty fair summary.

Money | Coach | List Profile | Friends | City

GWS will have arguably most money (pending Gil's corruption), worst coach (arguably worst coach of all time), best list, most friends, small city

Carlton will have arguably most money, decent coach, strong list profile, limited friends, big city

Hawthorn will have least money, best coach, average list profile, lots of friends, big city

Each club has different factors for strengths. What will be the deciding one?
Guess Coniglio prefers living in a small city then?

It is amusing.

Cogs leaves: Giants are s**t can't keep their players, what a stain of a club everyone wants out.

Cogs stays: Rorting the cap! AFL screwing over the comp.
If he left comments would of been more they blew the greatest list ever assembled for 0 flags

Happy cogs stayed but that talk will always be there until you win one rightly or wrongly
