I think the stats of the high volume mids have gone up. New rules probably helped Darcy Parish

Not a word that Hocking started his rule changes at the start of the 2019 season, bringing in 9 new rules to increase scoring that resulted in the lowest scoring since 1967.

So after more rule changes this year the scoring is still at its lowest since 1967.
