Saturday 5th of April. 2:10pm at Thomas Farms Oval. Streamed on the SANFL NOW website.

Pending the injury list: Butters (Knee) and Jones (Adductor) will be assessed for the AFL side. Which means Soldo and Cochrane could drop down here. Weidemann possibly with a head knock. Lord (Shoulder) to be assessed.

Xavier Walsh returns from his suspension.

Note: This game is the day before the AFL game, so the sub (EG: Jones) can't play.

We have avoided being last on %, a big win could put us into the top 5.

A healthy list makes a difference. I had a look at the crows side that smashed West Adelaide and it was loaded with actual AFL players.

Yep they've drastically improved their conditioning and fitness department, they used to be a mess whilst we've now gone backwards.

Agree. Hinkley's gone, now let's get our strength and conditioning department up to AFL level.

What happened to Burgess handing down all his talent to that Irish fitness guy? Is he gone? What have we got now?

Ian McKeown took over from Burgess, he was very good but moved on. After a worldwide search the best option was as usual already working at Port, Stuart Graham. Kind of like a matryoshka doll.

West beat us.
Crows marmalised West.
Sturt won comfortably on weekend.

So Port to do 'what' against Sturt?

They'll clobber us like everyone does

Hartlett, like previous coaches is confined to playing under the guidelines of the AFL style. Generally that young group, don't have the skills or the physical capacity to play that style at SANFL level. You either need a modified style that is better suited to sanfl or accept be beaten regularly while they try to learn and dev.

The only coach that would change things when the plan clearly wasn't working was Chad, probably why they moved him out the SANFL coaching role

The forward line has been working in years, by that logic they should've moved him out of that role by now too

I believe Burgess wanted to come back to Port too, know there was history but ****ing this is a professional sport, take the best if the option is there

I've heard that as well. Koch is afraid of being burned again, but get what you can out of him for as long as you can.

I’m hoping K Marshall plays, is Moss developing better ?

Moss is AFL listed, so he gets priority.

Yeah, but have a feeling we’re giving him a second chance to prove himself worthy of re-listing
