funny how the photo has his knob blurred out. front page of the australian they haven't noticed yet...

Are the people commenting on this thread fair dinkum ?

Read the god damn facts, he was sticking up for a teammate who got hit, they then got attacked by a plain clothed copper.

Clearly this photo is a set up with in the thai detention area.

So all you twits read before you write and stop posting this dribble.

To all you keyboard heroes who actually get off on this sort of thing, get a god damn life.

It's time Brown was booted out of the AFL for good, hopefully Demetriou is on a plane over there as we speak, and gives him his marching orders, enough is enough, thugs like Brown who go around belting up innocent bystanders need to be thrown in jail, first Fev vomiting all over the place now Brown belting up a copper. AFL is in disarray.

Agreed, one of the best nights of my life. Didn't even see any trouble.

Yep, and it's not hard to stay OUT of trouble in Thailand either. It's a party place, you have to be doing somnething wrong to get on the wrong side of the Thais. One thing I can be sure of, the players would have been at least partly to blame.

ChappyUK;22265003FFS! Totally sick of footballers saying they were provoked into a fight. The only reason you get into a fight is because you want to get into one. I've been provoked by drunken ********s at bars before but I've never actually been in a fight. It's only the drunken ******** footballers who can't ignore drunken ******** supporters.[/QUOTE said:
Agreed. It's a point most people seem to ignore when it comes to stupid behaviour from footballers.

fair game if someone cracks ya mate= kick the shite out of them

That may be acceptable behaviour in Australia (shouldn't be, but is), but if you ever go to Thailand and a mate makes a fool of himself, the best thing you can do is not get involved. Actually, the best thing to do is not make a fool of yourself in the first place.

Storm in a teacup, I think.

From what I read, they were detained for a couple of hours and then released with no charges laid. Nothing in it whatsoever. Media looking for its first off-season scandal?

Just from the GC Bulletin:

The West Australian man is believed to have launched a verbal and physical attack on Weller before Brown, Wilkinson and Gillbee jumped into the fray to help their young teammate.

Police later intervened.

Preliminary investigations indicate Thai authorities dealt with the matter and no further action was necessary.

No charges were laid against the Suns players, who reported the incident to the club upon their release.

Very disappointing from Brown. Would expect much more, expect him to have the vice captaincy stripped off him to set an example. McKenna is not a bloke to **** around with, pretty sure he banned mad Monday or something didn't he ? Make sure they had a good culture and made good of their talk about being community friendly.

U for real or what?? Get off ur almighty high chair.. Don't even know the full story yet. Been to Thailand many times anything is possible there..
