Very disappointing from Brown. Would expect much more, expect him to have the vice captaincy stripped off him to set an example. McKenna is not a bloke to **** around with, pretty sure he banned mad Monday or something didn't he ? Make sure they had a good culture and made good of their talk about being community friendly.

Looks like Browny's been punched up a bit in the face in that photo. What a strange way to pass the time.... why would anyone think that going to a notorious Full Moon party in Thailand be setting anything but a bad example to their peers. Seriously Browny.... grow up!

He's allowed to go to a full moon party.

Wait and see whether he was the ******** instigator or not?

Bit harsh, I have been to the full moon party it's a lot of fun. It's not that dangerous the media have beat it up, yes things like this happen but that's because their is at least 50,000 people on a beach.

He did the wrong thing but saying he shouldn't be going to the Full Moon party because it sets a bad example is a bit rich.

Agreed, one of the best nights of my life. Didn't even see any trouble.

Knowing full well that he's supposed to be a senior role model at his club, and the coach was proactive in telling players to not be foolish on their trips... it's not too much to ask he not go overboard and get himself in trouble.

The photo doesn't exactly look like a police lockup, does it? He should have known better, as a senior player. Don't play with fire because trouble seems to follow AFL players, whether they like it or not.

WHO GIVES A ****.
The attention on AFL footballers has gone like a cycle.
There was hardly any, the media got larger, there was a hunger for it and now its gotten to a point where its a joke.
As in all cycles the AGE and HS will come to a point where readers just wont give a shit.

yes he screwed up, but in your first post was saying that he should have never have gone to koh phangan, I was arguing that the hysteria about koh phangan that media created is overrated. That's all I was really arguing.

I'm sticking up for Thailand not Brown.

I've been to one too and didn't see any trouble, everyone was just there to have a good time. Was a better vibe there than when you go out to pubs and clubs here where there are almost always punch ups and scuffles.

You'd think the Gold Coast players must have been doing something stupid to get themselves in trouble.

I wasn't having a dig at koh phangan, mate. It was more at Browny going there because he's either going to be an idiot and get himself in trouble... or get in trouble because he's a footy player. Not a reflection of the place... I'm sure it's fine just as long as you don't clown about.

Probably but it doesn't take much for the police and bouncers over there to quickly resort to violence.

yeah I agree, I had a great time and so did a lot of people but I am just saying when you have been to one it's easy to see why some people go overboard and get into trouble.
