Not a fair comment on Dew. GC is a cardboard club. Culture there more the issue.
Sizzler closing down was a sad moment for me.

Hardwick is gonna see the difference that extensive Interstate travel makesDifference being Hardwick can coach, Dew couldn't.

he won't have his nice'n'cosy 12+ home games at the MCG

the AFL might want the Suns to play Finals (it looks good on their Interstate-teams resume), but they will not want them to win a Flag.
Sorry, over my head. Start what, please?Give him a few rounds then he will start.
One of Thilthorpe breakout game was against the Saints in the wet on his debut season.I am enjoying the steady improvement in Thilthorpe but he struggles in wet, slippery conditions at the moment. I just rewatched the Round 23 game v Sydney and he had 3 disposals. Tex also finds these conditions tough but usually manages to have some influence. Our fortunes tonight will mostly depend on our midfield and small/medium sized forwards imho.
The key match up in defence will be Lukosius plus their small/medium forwards. For us to win the game has to be an arm wrestle. If the pressure is poor (like Richmond last week) then we will look like the Washington Generals.
I tipped Gold Coast but in the words of Lloyd Christmas…………….
2:10 am first bounce….
That just isn’t right.
Well, we are seen as still Finals contender as it's a 30/70 away game against another Finals contender without Thilthorpe and Walker? If the rebuild is really over then losing Walker should be no big deal
I suspect it will be though.
What are you talking about? Losing Walker at any time is a huge deal.If the rebuild is really over then losing Walker should be no big deal
I suspect it will be though.

Losing a 33 year old player for a match should not be a big deal. What on earth?
Losing a 76 goal All Australian key forward is going to be a big deal to a team regardless of where they sit on the premiership clock.
Yep. We should be resting him multiple times per season with only minimal impactLosing a 33 year old player for a match should not be a big deal.
AC!! maaaate ... ENTURY (long time, no C).2:10 am first bounce….
That just isn’t right.
Is a team contending for Finals still rebuilding? The rebuild is nowhere near over.
And no umpire complaints we’ll done everyoneWait, we've already lost?
I swear the game is tonight.
