Should have beat them a lot easier but got there at the end. Probably Amartey best game as a Swan.
Once the Bombers started running through the middle we had nothing in that last quarter. Think the no ruck experiment has to end our midfield isn't good enough to shark the ball off the opposition every stoppage.
Three on the trot so can't complain that much but GWS in the form they are in will be a different kettle of fish next week.

But the debate has been Daicos Martin Gulden for 2 spots ,

We both know Daicos is a lock no matter what

Gulden was already ahead in most categories and then he carved Essendon up while Martin did stuff all

So yeah for All Australian it solidified his lead I reckon.

Happy for the boys, dug in deep when it felt like the inevitable choke was coming. Our 4th quarters have been pathetic this year, but its still 4 points september is still on.

Same with last week I felt our pressure and efficiency when going inside 50 was pretty good, it was the difference again tonight. Warner I felt had a really good second half, won alot of those 50/50s crashing his body in, especially in the dying moments. T Mac was very good on Wright, cunners very nice and composed too, JMac Lloyd Florent good in our back half. Amartey and Wicks did their jobs, 7 goals between them.

Congrats to Mills for a win on his 150th, means a lot. Didn't get enough output from him and parker however. -13 clearance and -28 in contested possession, not a sustainable way we are playing. Hard fought win in the end, chuffed with the result.
