Uh Essendon run was unreal along with the inability from us to run out games.

Great to see Warner in some form again. Gulden incredible match! Along with Cunningham, Lloyd and McInerney. Really slick hands in the back line and didnt panic. Thought Campbell was influential too. Blakey good in bits and pieces.

For Parker, Mills and Heeney to have so little influence and we still get over the line is promising!

Hopefully Bud was just precautionary and Rampe nothing serious either.

Buddy isn’t precautionary - massive limp post game.

Our biggest problem is like a lot of sides not quite there in experience and class we don’t handle momentum shifts well. Especially ones orchestrated by shit officiating.

I'm happy with the 2 point win. Would have been good to finish the game off stronger, but I'm glad the team managed to hold on despite Essendon playing out of their skins in the 4th.

McInerney was amazing in the 4th. His attack on the ball when most others buckled was great to see. Saved a few certain goals.

Warner was important as well. Had some great touches to get the ball moving forward.

Armatey had a great game, kicking goals early and then having a couple of important defensive efforts in the dying minutes to help win the match.

A few others contributed, but those 3 probably the most influential.

Papley's goal was crucial as well.

Glad we got the job done. Season still alive.

That was one of the best games I've seen Lloyd play in ages (granted he's been pretty solid all year). Every time he got the ball tonight he was really poised and made the right decision.

I think Mills and Parker just lack that acceleration to keep up with their opponents on the burst. We can only have one of them at the contest at any one time.
